Balderson was an unincorporated community located in Wood County, West Virginia, United States.

Firecracker is a 2005 thriller film directed by Steve Balderson, starring Karen Black and Mike Patton, who each play two major roles. Patton and Jak Kendall play brothers David and Jimmy, who live in a small Kansas town in the 1950s and have an abusive relationship. Both brothers become involved with Sandra (Black), a singer with the traveling carnival that visits the town each summer. Sandra is also trapped in an abusive relationship with the carnival owner Frank. When the carnival leaves town, David also disappears, leading to an investigation of his apparent murder.

Walter Balderson is an American television editor and video engineer, who participated in the advent of color television beginning in the early 1950s and later was one of the first editors to use videotape for instant replay on network television sports events. A special election for Ohio's 12th congressional district was held August 7, 2018, following the resignation of Republican U.S. Representative Pat Tiberi. The Republican Party nominated State Senator Troy Balderson for the seat while the Democratic Party nominated Franklin County Recorder Danny O'Connor. Balderson led O'Connor in preliminary results; however, the race was not officially called on election night. Counting of outstanding ballots began on August 18 and was completed on August 24. The outstanding ballots did not change the margin enough to trigger an automatic recount, so Balderson was declared the winner on August 24.
George Philip Balderson is an English professional cricketer. Balderson signed his first professional contract with Lancashire in 2018. Having captained England at Under-19 level, his deal was extended in November 2019. A month later he was named as the captain of England's squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Balderson made his first-class debut on 1 August 2020, for Lancashire in the 2020 Bob Willis Trophy. He made his List A debut on 25 July 2021, for Lancashire in the 2021 Royal London One-Day Cup.
