The Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board or BREB, is government organization in Dhaka, Bangladesh and is responsible for rural electrification. [1] It is the largest power distribution organization in Bangladesh. [2] BREB has brought all the 461 upazilas on grid under 100% electrification. [3] Ajay Kumar Chakroborty, an additional secretary is the present chairman of the board.
The Rural Electrification Board was established in 1977. It implements electrification of rural areas in Bangladesh and builds electrics lines and sub stations. [1] It counterpart Bangladesh Power Development Board manages electric distribution in urban areas. [4] Palli Bidyut Samities in a subsidiary of the board and acts as a consumer cooperative. [5] The board has expanded rural electric connections rapidly. It has taken some market shares of solar energy. [6]

The 2001–02 National Football League was the second season of the country's first football league held on a national scale. The league was also known as the Nitol-Tata National Football League due to sponsorship reasons.
Textile schools in Bangladesh offer various academic and professional degrees in textile fields. A number of colleges and technical institutes as well as some universities offer diploma, bachelor's and master's degree from their allocated faculties upon completion of certification courses. Textile courses offered in these schools include spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing, finishing, apparels merchandising and fashion designing. The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) (Bengali: বাংলাদেশ প্রিমিয়ার লিগ; ISO: bānlādēś primiẏār lig) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league organised by the BPL Governing Council. The BPL is one of the three professional cricket leagues in Bangladesh. It is the 16th most attended premier league in the world. In winter, each team faces the other twice in the league stage. Following the conclusion of the regular season, the top four teams advance to the playoffs, a single-elimination game, and two qualifier games culminating in the Championship game, between the winner of Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2.

The Bangladesh Premier League 2022, also known as BPL Season 8 or Bangabandhu BPL 2022 presented by BBS Cables and powered by Walton, was the eighth season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the top-level professional Twenty20 cricket league in Bangladesh, organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The season was scheduled to start from March 2021. However, the tournament was postponed and rescheduled to be held from 21 January to 18 February 2022.
The Bangladesh Premier League 2023, also known as BPL Season 9 or Ispahani BPL 2023 Powered by Minister Group was the ninth season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the top-level professional Twenty20 cricket league in Bangladesh, organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). In July 2022, after the International Cricket Council accommodated the month of January and February for this league in its Future Tours Programme, the BCB announced the schedule of the BPL for the next three seasons. Accordingly, the ninth season was scheduled to be held from 5 January to 16 February in 2023. BCB also decided to increase the number of teams to 7 and to sell the franchise rights for 3 years from this season.

The league is organised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The season started from 19 January and final was held on 1 March 2024. In September 2022, the BPL Governing Council announced the seven franchises which took part in the tournament. Comilla Victorians were the defending champions.
