Beach of the War Goddess is the second studio album by British recording artist Caron Wheeler. The album was released on 23 February 1993 by EMI Records in collaboration with RCA Records.
In collaboration with RCA Records, Beach of the War Goddess was released outside of Europe through EMI Records on 23 February 1993. The album spent five weeks on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums' chart and peaked at number 81. [5]
The album's lead single "I Adore You" was originally featured on the soundtrack to the film Mo' Money. "I Adore You" charted number 59 on the UK Singles chart and peaked at number 12 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs' chart. [6] [7] "In Our Love" was released as the second single, peaking at number 61 on Billboard's Hot R&B Songs chart.
In August 1993, the album's third single "Soul Street" was released, but failed to chart. In September 1993, the fourth single "Beach of the War Goddess" was released and peaked at number 75 on the UK Singles chart.

Color Me Badd is an American contemporary R&B group that was formed in 1985 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma by lead singer Bryan Abrams, tenor Mark Calderon, second tenor Sam Watters and baritone Kevin Thornton. Color Me Badd broke up in 1998 before reuniting in 2010, with various lineups since.
Caron Melina Wheeler is an English singer, songwriter, record producer and musician. Martha Wash is the debut solo studio album by American singer and songwriter Martha Wash. It was released on February 23, 1993 through RCA Records. Recording sessions for the album took place in 1992 at several studios, after leaving her then-group The Weather Girls. The tracks in the album are a mixture of uptempo songs and ballads, which are basically inspired by R&B and house genres; it also features elements of soul and pop music. "Livin' in the Light" is a song by British singer-songwriter Caron Wheeler, released in August 1990 as the first single from her debut solo album, UK Blak (1990). Wheeler wrote the song with N. P. Hail, and produced it with Afrika Baby Bam and Blacksmith. It is a soul song that incorporates elements of neo soul, electronica, and 1970s-style funk music. Its lyrics describe people being dragged away from their culture and having to survive within a new surrounding. The song references slavery and reparations.
