Beaver Creek, also known as Wisetown, is an unincorporated community in southern Bond County, Illinois, United States. [1] Beaver Creek is located just south of Illinois Route 143 in Mills Township. Beaver Creek flows past one half mile west of the community. [2] The community is home to the Wisetown Baptist Church and the Wisetown Cemetery lies to the southwest along Beaver Creek. Greenville lies ten miles to the north and Carlyle is about 13 miles to the south along Illinois Route 127. [3]
The Ohio River is a 981-mile (1,579 km) long river in the United States. It is located at the boundary of the Midwestern and Southern United States, flowing in a southwesterly direction from western Pennsylvania to its mouth on the Mississippi River at the southern tip of Illinois. It is the third largest river by discharge volume in the United States and the largest tributary by volume of the north-south flowing Mississippi River that divides the eastern from western United States. Iroquois County is a county located in the northeast part of the U.S. state of Illinois. According to the 2020 United States Census, it has a population of 27,077. It is the only county in the United States to be named Iroquois, after the American Indian people. The county seat is Watseka. The county is located along the border with Indiana.
Lake Montezuma is a census-designated place (CDP) in Yavapai County in the U.S. state of Arizona. The population was 5,111 at the 2020 census. The CDP includes the communities of Rimrock and McGuireville. Located along Interstate 17, it is 20 miles (32 km) south of Sedona and 8 miles (13 km) north of Camp Verde in central Arizona's Verde Valley.
The Humboldt River is an extensive river drainage system located in north-central Nevada. It extends in a general east-to-west direction from its headwaters in the Jarbidge, Independence, and Ruby Mountains in Elko County, to its terminus in the Humboldt Sink, approximately 225 direct miles away in northwest Churchill County. Most estimates put the Humboldt River at 300 to 330 miles long however, due to the extensive meandering nature of the river, its length may be more closely estimated at 380 miles (610 km). It is located within the Great Basin Watershed and is the third longest river in the watershed behind the Bear River at 355 miles (571 km) and the Sevier River at 325 miles (523 km). The Humboldt River Basin is the largest sub-basin of the Great Basin encompassing an area of 16,840 square miles (43,600 km2). It is the only major river system wholly contained within the state of Nevada.
The Arizona Strip is the part of Arizona lying north of the Colorado River. Despite being larger in area than several U.S. states, the entire region has a population of fewer than 10,000 people. Consisting of northeastern Mohave County and northwestern Coconino County, the largest settlements in the Strip are Colorado City, Fredonia, and Beaver Dam, with smaller communities of Scenic, Littlefield and Desert Springs. The Kaibab Indian Reservation lies within the region. Lying along the North Rim of the Grand Canyon creates physical barriers to the rest of Arizona. Only three major roads traverse the region, I-15 crosses the northwestern corner while Arizona State Route 389 and U.S. Route 89A crosses the northeastern part of the strip, US 89A crosses the Colorado River via the Navajo Bridge, providing the only direct road connection between the strip and the rest of the state. The nearest metropolitan area is the St. George, Utah metro area, to which the region is more connected than to the rest of Arizona.
Brownbranch is an unincorporated community in northeastern Taney County, Missouri, United States. It is located on Beaver Creek at the intersection of Route 76 and Missouri Supplemental Route W, approximately 23 miles (37 km) northeast of Forsyth. Bradleyville lies about 5.7 miles (9.2 km) to the west on Route 76 and McClurg lies about 3.5 miles (5.6 km) to the east on Route W. The community is part of the Branson, Missouri Micropolitan Statistical Area.

Highway 34 designates major roads intended for travel by the public between Highway 13 just to the west of Ogema to the US border. The highway used to connect to Montana Secondary Highway 511 at the Port of Big Beaver, however the port closed in 2011. Saskatchewan's main roadways are located in the central/southern geographical land area of rugged badlands, and rolling prairie and grass land in a western Canadian prairie province. This paved highway along with Red Coat Trail and Outlaw Tail, early Red river cart trails encompassed the Big Muddy Badlands.
The Crooked River is a tributary, 125 miles (201 km) long, of the Deschutes River in the U.S. state of Oregon. The river begins at the confluence of the South Fork Crooked River and Beaver Creek. Of the two tributaries, the South Fork Crooked River is the larger and is sometimes considered part of the Crooked River proper. A variant name of the South Fork Crooked River is simply "Crooked River". The Deschutes River flows north into the Columbia River.

The headwaters of Gales Creek are on the north side of the mountain Round Top in the Northern Oregon Coast Range. The community of Gales Creek, Oregon, is near the creek, which further downstream forms the southwest border of the city of Forest Grove.
