Becca Schack, known by her stage name Beca (also Beca Dreams) [1] is an American singer, songwriter, and producer from New York. [2]
Beca grew up in Upstate New York. In her youth she played the piano, sang, and studied many genres of music including jazz and classical. [1]
At age 18 she moved to Manhattan to study music composition at Juilliard with composers Samuel Adler, Christopher Rouse, and Elliott Sharp. [3]
She found herself drawn to the club scene and started playing with various indie bands.
Her two first EPs Let's Run Wild and Born to Fly were released via UK label This Is Music Ltd in 2012. [4] The songs on Let's Run Wild were co-written and co-produced by Findlay Brown. [5]
Her debut album, Ecliptic, was independently released in 2015. [6] The album accrued radio spins from over 50 stations nationwide including Los Angeles' KCRW. [7] Her song "Meteor" charted on Beatport's Top 100 Indie Dance Releases [8] and debuted in the Top 90 of the FMQB (Friday Morning Quarterback) Singles Chart. [9] Beca's single "The Secrets That We Keep" was a finalist in the 2019 John Lennon Songwriting Contest (Electronic category). [10]
Beca has performed at festivals and events, including Miami Fashion Week, [11] POP Montreal [12] and North by Northeast (NXNE). [13]

Her music has appeared on Made in Chelsea , [20] Dance Moms , [21] Bones , and One Life to Live . Beca partnered with Bounty to compose and perform the song “Quicker Picker Upper." [22]

North by Northeast is an annual music and arts festival held each June in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The festival's main focus is live music, particularly emerging talent. Acts that have had break out appearances at NXNE at small venues early in their careers include: Lizzo, Daniel Caesar (2016), Run the Jewels (2014), Lumineers (2012), Grimes (2011), Gary Clark Jr. (2007), The Arkells (2007), Feist (2004), Billy Talent (1999) and thousands more. In its return post-COVID, the festival embraced its roots as a discovery event, programming exclusively in Toronto's live music venues, presenting over 200 of the world's best emerging acts bands in 20 venues over five nights from June 14 -18, 2022. Festival passes were low priced and bands were not charged a fee to apply. The 2023 Festival takes place June 13-17. Complete festival passes cost $25, all shows are $15 at the door without a pass.

Pitch Perfect is a 2012 American musical comedy film directed by Jason Moore and written by Kay Cannon. Filming concluded in December 2011, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Maaike Kito Lebbing, known professionally as Kito, is an Australian record producer, songwriter and DJ currently based in Los Angeles, California. Kito originally debuted in 2009 on Skream's record label Disfigured Dubz. After independently releasing an EP in 2018 called Haani, Lebbing debuted under Astralwerks/Capitol, releasing singles featuring Empress Of, AlunaGeorge, Fletcher, Zhu and Jeremih. She has created official remixes for Beyoncé's "Run the World (Girls)" (2011), Broods' "Too Proud" (2019) and Wafia's "Flowers and Superpowers" (2019), and produced music for musicians such as Mabel, Jorja Smith, Banks and Ruel, and in 2019 was nominated for the Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year at the 2020 Global APRA Music Awards.

Eli & Fur are a DJ and electronic music producer duo comprising Eliza Noble and Jennifer Skillman, hailing from London, England. Eli & Fur have been working together since they were in their teens.
