Beijo is a song by Romanian music group Morandi. The song's lyrics are sung in Portuguese. The song was a popular summer hit in Romania in 2005, and in July of that year, reached number 1 on the MTV Europe and World Chart Express charts, overtaking singles by Coldplay, U2 and Shakira.

The song was written and produced by Shakira, with additional writing and production from longtime collaborators Luis Fernando Ochoa and Lester Mendez respectively. "La Tortura" is a song with prominent influences of reggaeton, and lyrically tells the story of a woman who has been emotionally "tortured" because her boyfriend cheated and eventually left her for another, and has now returned begging forgiveness.

Akcent Romanian Band

Akcent is a multi-certified, award-winning Romanian dance pop act whose members sing in Romanian, English and Spanish. Their name originated as a wordplay on accent. The group was created by Adrian Sînă, and Ramona Barta. Their first single "Nu-mi pasă de nimeni" received positive reactions from critics and became the reason Catalin Muraru signed them to Roton in 1999. They released their debut album Senzatzia in 2000. Except for the first track, "Ultima vara", which received some airplay, the album was a commercial failure and the band disbanded. Soon after, Sînă brought Marius Nedelcu, Mihai Gruia and Sorin Brotnei into the group, changing it from a duo to a boyband. They came to prominence once with the release of their hit single "Ți-am promis".

Uh La La La

"Uh La La La" is a 1997 song recorded by Italian singer Alexia featuring additional vocals by an uncredited male rapper. It was released as the fourth single from her debut album, Fan Club (1997), and is written by Roberto Zanetti and Alexia herself. The song was a summer hit of 1997 in Europe and became Alexia's international breakout success. It reached number-one in Italy and Spain, number two in Finland and was a Top 10 hit also in Austria, Ireland, Scotland, Sweden and the UK. After its success in Europe, the song was remixed for a UK release the following year, which also saw release in Australia, where it peaked at number 17. This was her last single to be released by different labels in different territories as after this all her releases would be by Sony Music.

The MTV Romania Music Awards 2006 were presented on June 3 at Sala Sporturilor Horia Demian in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This was the fifth time the MTV Romania Music Awards have been presented.

Around the World (La La La La La) 2000 song by German Eurodance group ATC

"Around the World " is the debut single of German-based international Eurodance group ATC. The song is a cover of the Russian hit "Pesenka" by Ruki Vverh! and uses the song's melody with additional English lyrics. Multiple record charts have been inaugurated in Romania since the 1990s. The Romanian Top 100 was the country's national chart until 2012. Founded in 1995, it was a ranking based on the compilation of charts submitted by local Romanian radio stations. The Romanian Top 100 was published weekly and was also announced during a radio show starting in 1998. Compilation of the list was first handled by Body M Production A-V, followed by Media Forest. In the 2010s, the chart was announced during a podcast on Kiss FM, but the broadcast ended in February 2012.

"Amazing" is a song recorded by Romanian singer Inna for her debut studio album, Hot (2009). It was released as the fourth single from the record on 6 August 2009. Written and produced by Play & Win members Sebastian Barac, Radu Bolfea and Marcel Botezan, "Amazing" is a techno track with a Spanish guitar and beats in its instrumentation. One reviewer regarded the song as being similar to Inna's past work, however, with the addition of new elements. Other music critics gave positive reviews of the single, and praised its construction and foresaw its commercial success.

With global album sales of four million copies from her first three studio albums, Inna is the best-selling Romanian artist.

Disco Romancing 2010 single by Elena Gheorghe

"Disco Romancing" is a song by Romanian artist Elena Gheorghe. It is her sixth single to be released and the first since her Eurovision Song Contest entry, in 2009. With "Disco Romancing", Gheorghe tries a new musical style, house, a very successful musical style in Romania, and, because of Romanian artists such as Inna and Edward Maya, worldwide. The song was written by Laurenţiu Duţă and Ovidiu Bistriceanu, and was produced by Duţă. They also wrote and produced "The Balkan Girls" for Elena. The song leaked on the Internet in mid-April 2010 and was confirmed as Elena's future single in early May. The music video was filmed in May 2010 and the main set was the A2 motorway, on the way to the Black Sea. The director of the video is Dragoş Buliga. "Disco Romancing" debuted at number 74 in the Romanian Top 100 and later became Gheorghe's second number one in the chart. With this feat, she became the first Romanian female artist to top the chart twice. It has also charted in Ukraine, Russia, Bulgaria and Hungary.

"Freaky Like Me" is an English language song by the Norwegian urban duo Madcon featuring vocals from Belgian-Tunisian singer Ameerah. It is the second single released from their fourth album Contraband. The song was written by Ameerah, TJ Oosterhuis, Arjang "DreamRoc'a" Shishegar, Tshawe Baqwa and Yosef Wolde-Mariam and produced by Norwegian producer DreamRoc'a, also known as Sha, and TJ Oosterhuis. It was released on 20 September 2010. The song reached number one in Norway, making it their third number one in the country and their third biggest international hit.

"Loca People" is a song by Spanish DJ and record producer Sak Noel. Dutch singer Esthera Sarita performed the female vocals in the song. It was released in Spain on 9 February 2011 by Blanco y Negro Records, while the same day, the music video was shot on YouTube; in Italy, it was released on 3 March 2011 by Do it Yourself Music Group, then in most countries, it was released on 24 June 2011, but was released in the United Kingdom on 25 September 2011.
