Bertrand Moulinet (born 6 January 1987 in Toulouse) is a French racewalker. [1] He competed in the 20 km walk at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where he placed eighth, [2] and in the 50 km walk where he placed 11th.

Doping

On 30 March 2015 Moulinet tested positive for the HIF inhibitor FG-4592. [3] He admitted doping after the French police had searched his flat and interrogated him. [4] He subsequently received a four-year ban from sport. [5] [6] [3] [7]

The World Athletics Race Walking Team Championships is a racewalking event organised by World Athletics. It has been held since 1961, and generally on a biennial basis. The first women's edition of the event happened in 1979. It was formerly known as the Lugano Cup after the city that hosted the first event, then became the IAAF World Race Walking Cup until 2016 and then IAAF World Race Walking Team Championships until 2018. In 2004, a junior division was added for athletes between 16 and 20. Since 2008 it has been a constituent meeting of the World Athletics Challenge – Race Walking.

Viktor Mikhailovich Chegin is a banned Russian racewalking coach. He was responsible for training all three athletes who swept the medals at the 2009 World Championships in Athletics: Olga Kaniskina, Valeriy Borchin and Sergey Kirdyapkin. His athletes Elena Lashmanova and Sergey Kirdyapkin won gold medals at the 2012 Summer Olympics, with Kaniskina earning a silver medal. Laila Traby is a French runner. She won a bronze medal at the 2014 European Championships in Zürich in the 10,000 metres event. Three months after the championship, she was found by police with EPO in her apartment while training in the Pyrenees. She subsequently underwent a doping test.
