The Billboard Latin Music Award for Streaming Song of the Year is an honor presented annually at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, a ceremony which honors "the most popular albums, songs, and performers in Latin music, as determined by the actual sales, radio airplay, online streaming and social data that informs Billboard 's weekly charts." [1] The award is given to the best performing singles on Billboard's Latin Streaming Songs chart, which measures the most streamed Spanish-language recordings "on leading online music services" in the United States. [2] The list was established by the magazine on April 20, 2013. [3]

Nicky Jam is the most awarded act in the category with three wins from five nominations. Only Enrique Iglesias and Nicky Jam have won twice in a row. Romeo Santos is the most nominated artist without a win, with seven. Bad Bunny is the only act to be nominated four times in a single year, with Peso Pluma right behind with three nominations in a single year. As of 2019, the holders are Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma for the song "Ella Baila Sola".

Alejandro Ramírez Suárez, better known as Sky Rompiendo, Sky Rompiendo el Bajo or just Sky is a Colombian producer, songwriter and DJ. He gained recognition at a young age, creating hits with Latin trap and reggaetón artists such as Anitta, Feid, J Balvin, Karol G, Maluma, Nicky Jam and Ozuna. He has received six Latin Grammy Awards as a producer and songwriter.

The Premios Tu Música Urbano is an award presented by television network Telemundo Puerto Rico to recognize artists who "transcended and boosted the success of Latin urban music around the world." The show is held annually at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in Puerto Rico since 2019, is produced by Telemundo, Sora & Company and Mr. & Mrs. Entertainment, and is broadcast by Telemundo Puerto Rico in Latin America and by Telemundo in the United States. The awards were created in response to the lack of representation of reggaeton and Latin trap artists in the Latin Grammy Awards main categories and the absence of a separate Latin urban category at the Grammy Awards.

Iván Cornejo, is an American regional Mexican music singer-songwriter. Cornejo endured a breakup in middle school that provided inspiration for songwriting. He taught himself how to play the guitar by watching tutorials on YouTube. The second song he learned how to play was Ritchie Valens' version of "La Bamba".
