Billboard Latin Women in Music is an annual event by Billboard Latin. The Latin edition of Billboard 's Woman of the Year event, it would "celebrates Latin female artists, executives and creatives who are proactively working for positive change, inclusion and gender parity in the music industry," according to the magazine. Like its American counterpart, the main award is titled Woman of the Year. [1] The inaugural ceremony was held on May 6, 2023, with Shakira as the Woman of the Year awardee. [2]

The sentimental ballad is about a woman’s honesty to her former lover and how she feels her life to be subsequently monotonous. In the accompanying music video, Shakira is depicted as singing in an arena full of admirers screaming for her. Along with Luis Fernando Ochoa, Shakira wrote the lyrics and managed the production.

The Latin Grammy Award for Best Short Form Music Video is an honor presented annually at the Latin Grammy Awards, a ceremony that recognizes excellence and creates a wider awareness of cultural diversity and contributions of Latin recording artists in the United States and internationally. The award has been given since the 1st Latin Grammy Awards in 2000 to artists, directors and producers of an individual promotional music video released for the first time during the award eligibility year.

The Latin Grammy Award for Producer of the Year is an honor presented annually at the Latin Grammy Awards, a ceremony that recognizes excellence and creates a wider awareness of cultural diversity and contributions of Latin recording artists, in the United States and internationally. The award is given to a producer whose recordings released during the eligibility period represent extraordinary creativity in the area of record production. Six individual songs, or 51% of the duration of an album, are the minimum for a producer to be eligible. Two or more producers can participate as a team only if they have worked together during the period of eligibility.

The Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year is an award presented annually by the Latin Recording Academy, the same organization that distributes the Latin Grammy Awards, to commend musicians for their "artistic achievements in the Latin music industry as well as their humanitarian efforts". Award recipients are honored during "Latin Grammy Week", a string of galas just prior to the annual Latin Grammy Awards ceremony. Until 2023, the award was only presented to artists of Ibero-American heritage, when Laura Pausini became the first Italian artist to be presented with the honor.

The Premios 40 Principales for Best Latin Song is an honor presented annually at the Los 40 Principaless, a ceremony that recognizes excellence, creates a greater awareness of cultural diversity and contributions of Latino artists in the international scene.

The Latin American Music Awards is an annual American music awards show produced by TelevisaUnivision. It is the Spanish-language counterpart of the American Music Awards (AMAs). As with AMAs, the Latin AMAs are determined by a poll of the public and music buyers and is produced by SOMOS Productions. The first Latin AMAs debuted on October 8, 2015, on Telemundo and was hosted by Lucero. The awards were not held in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, they resumed a year later.

"Mambo 23" is the lead single of Guerra's upcoming second EP, Radio Guira. It was released on September 22, 2023, by Rimas Entertainment. The track marked the first time that the artist ventured into Mambo Merengue or Merengue de Calle and Latin trap. The song include fusions of bachata, trap and merengue with arrangements of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and classical instruments with influences of influences of Dominican dembow and trap music. The music video was directed by Guerra's oldest son, Jean Gabriel Guerra.

"Cómo Dónde y Cuándo" is a song by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira. The song was released on 22 March 2024 as a part of Shakira's twelfth studio album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. The song marks a return to the Latin rock genre she saw success with early in her career in the 90s.

Nohelys Jiménez, known professionally as J Noa, is a Dominican rapper, singer, and songwriter. She rose to prominence in 2021 after her YouTube freestyle session, "Freestyle #05 " with DJ Scuff, gained popularity. Her debut studio album, Autodidacta, released in 2023, received positive reviews despite failing to chart. Jiménez was nominated for Best Rap/Hip Hop Song at the 24th Annual Latin Grammy Awards and for Female New Artist at the Premio Lo Nuestro 2024.
