Billboard Greece is a Greek online magazine that launched on 18 March 2011. It serves as the localized version of Billboard , also featuring independent coverage of both Greek and international music repertoire.
Billboard was first introduced to the Greek public in the 1970s. Giannis Petridis was the first to present the top 10 from his radio show, where he also regularly presented various reports from the magazine. [1]
The complete presentation of the top 10 singles and albums, and later the top 20, was started in 1976 on the radio show "Studio 344" hosted by Akis Evenis on B. Program. The presentation would take place every Friday, a week earlier than the official publication of Billboard in the United States, as he would receive the charts directly from Voice of America. [1]
On 2 February 2011, it was announced that a Greek version of Billboard called Billboard Greece would launch online by the end of the month. [1] The date was later pushed back to 14 March 2011, [2] then once again to 18 March 2011. [3]
Billboard Greece is an online magazine, featuring independent coverage, but also works closely with Billboard and has access to its exclusive press content. [4] Billboard Greece covers all genres of music, and is not limited to specific types only. [1] At launch, it planned to allocate 70% of its coverage to international repertoire and 30% to domestic repertoire. [2]
The site also feature interviews of artists—both written and on video—as well as exclusive broadcasts of songs, reviews of concerts in real time, reviews on albums and songs, tributes, and an agenda of all the music events taking place in Athens. Billboard Greece also plans to organize concerts and fan gatherings, and will support a wide range of music event in all of Greece. [1]

Anna Vissi, is a Greek Cypriot singer and songwriter. She studied music at conservatories and performed locally before moving to the professional scene in Athens, in 1973, where she signed with Minos and simultaneously collaborated with other musical artists and released promotional singles of her own while studying at the University of Athens.

Giro apo t'oneiro is the fourth Greek-language studio album and sixth studio album overall by Greek singer Helena Paparizou, released on 29 March 2010 by Sony Music Greece. The album, which was certified platinum in Greece for 12,000 shipments, was released in both standard and deluxe editions, with the deluxe edition featuring a live DVD. Distributed initially as a covermount with the Greek newspaper Real News on 28 March, it sold 140,000 copies through both releases, making it the most widely distributed release of Paparizou's career. Its singles performed moderately well compared to her previous albums, with "Tha 'Mai Allios", "An Isouna Agapi", and "Girna Me Sto Htes" managing to reach the top 10 of the domestic charts.

C'est La Vie is the eighth studio album released by Greek singer Despina Vandi. Initially, the album was distributed exclusively via a bundling with the newspaper "Real News" on 13 June 2010, marks the first LP released on label "The Spicy Effect", as well as her first studio album of new material since 2007's 10 Hronia Mazi. The album contains eleven songs, composed and produced entirely by Phoebus, with Zoi Grypari having written the lyrics on two songs, Vaggelis Konstandinidis on one song, and one song which is a co-production with a member of German band Schiller, Christopher von Deylen. Evaisthiti... I Logiki? is the title of the eleventh album by the Greek artist Peggy Zina released on 6 October 2010 by Minos EMI in Greece and Cyprus. Written entirely by Giannis Christodoulopoulos and Eleana Vrahali, the album entered the Greek albums chart number one where it remained for three weeks.
"Parafora" is the third single by Greek pop/rock musician Sakis Rouvas from his thirteenth studio album of the same name. It is an electropop-ambient-dance-pop song written by Dimitris Kontopoulos and Nikos Kostidakis and produced by Kontopoulos. The song was released to radio stations on 15 October 2010 to coincide with the premiere date of Rouvas 2010–11 winter season shows with Anna Vissi called Face2Face. Parafora is the 13th studio album by Greek recording artist Sakis Rouvas and 15th album overall. It was released by Minos EMI in Greece and Cyprus on 14 December 2010 and distributed digitally ten days later to all Eurozone countries and elsewhere.
