South Korea Songs is a music record chart in South Korea compiled by Billboard since May 7, 2022, and is a replacement for the Billboard K-pop Hot 100 chart that was discontinued one week prior. The chart is updated every Tuesday on Billboard's website. It is part of Billboard's Hits of the World chart collection, ranking the top 25 songs weekly in more than 40 countries around the globe. The first number-one song on the chart was "Still Life" by Big Bang on the issue dated May 7, 2022. [2] The current number-one song on the chart, as of the issue dated July 27, 2024, is "Supernatural" by NewJeans. [3]
The chart tracks songs' performance from Friday to Thursday. Chart rankings are based on digital downloads from full-service digital music retailers (sales from direct-to-consumer sites such as an individual artist's store are excluded) and online streaming occurring in South Korea during the tracking period. All data are provided by Luminate Data, formerly MRC Data. [4]

The Canadian Hot 100 is a music industry record chart in Canada for songs, published weekly by Billboard magazine. The launched on the issue dated March 31, 2007, and is the standard record chart in Canada; a new chart is compiled and released to the public by Billboard on Tuesdays, but post-dated to the following Saturday.
Pop Airplay is a 40-song music chart published weekly by Billboard Magazine that ranks the most popular songs of pop music being played on a panel of Top 40 radio stations in the United States. The rankings are based on radio airplay detections as measured by Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems, a subsidiary of the U.S.' leading marketing research company. Consumer researchers, Nielsen Audio, refers to the format as contemporary hit radio (CHR). The current number-one song on the chart is "I Had Some Help" by Post Malone featuring Morgan Wallen.
The K-pop Hot 100 is a music singles chart in South Korea, launched by Billboard in conjunction with Billboard Korea (빌보드코리아) on August 25, 2011. It is the second Asian Billboard chart after the Japan Hot 100. The chart used the same multimetric methodology as the US Hot 100 and rankings were compiled based on Hanteo Chart data, streaming and download data from Naver VIBE, and domestic radio and television music playback data. Updates were published on Billboard Korea's website every Tuesday, and appeared on billboard.com the following day.
Kim Tae-hyung, known professionally as V (뷔), is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and a member of the boy band BTS. Since his debut with the band in 2013, V has performed three solo songs under their name—"Stigma" in 2016, "Singularity" in 2018, and "Inner Child" in 2020—all of which charted on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart.
The discography of the South Korean boy group NCT consists of four studio albums and thirteen singles. The multi-national boy group was formed by SM Entertainment in 2016 and comprises multiple sub-units that occasionally reunite to release new music as NCT and NCT U. In 2018, the group released their first studio album, NCT 2018 Empathy, which peaked at number two on South Korea's Circle Album Chart and received a 2× platinum certification, awarded by the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA). Their next album, NCT 2020 Resonance, was released in two parts, which topped the Circle Album Chart, earning NCT their first number-one in the country. Both parts sold over 1.5 million copies and were certified Million by the KMCA. The album became NCT's first entry on national charts in Canada, Hungary, the Flanders and the United States. One of its lead singles, "Make a Wish", reached number 14 on the Circle Digital Chart, becoming NCT's first top 15 hit in South Korea, and peaked at number 126 the Billboard 200, becoming NCT's first song to enter the chart. In 2021, the group released Universe, which became their third number-one album in South Korea and first number-one album in Japan. NCT released their fourth studio album, Golden Age, in 2023.
Jung Ho-seok, known professionally as J-Hope, is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, dancer, and record producer. He made his debut as a member of South Korean boy band BTS in 2013, under Big Hit Entertainment.
Jeon Jung-kook, known mononymously as Jungkook, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and dancer. He rose to prominence as a member and vocalist of the South Korean boy band BTS. He has performed three solo songs as part of BTS' discography— "Begin" in 2016, "Euphoria" in 2018, and "My Time" in 2020—all of which charted on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. He also recorded the soundtrack song "Stay Alive" for the BTS-based webtoon 7Fates: Chakho.
Kim Seok-jin, known professionally as Jin (진), is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and member of the South Korean boy band BTS. Jin has co-written and released three solo tracks with BTS: "Awake" in 2016, "Epiphany" in 2018, and "Moon" in 2020, all of which have charted on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. In 2019, Jin released his first independent song, the digital track "Tonight". He made his official debut as a solo artist in October 2022, with the release of the single "The Astronaut".

This was the first local Billboard chart in the Philippines since the discontinuation of the Philippine Hot 100 and four other charts after Billboard Philippines halted its operation for an undisclosed reason on January 15, 2018.

Written by Seo Ji-eum and composed by various contributors, including Andreas Öberg, the song was released as the lead single of the extended play (EP) on March 21, 2022 through SM Entertainment, along with an accompanying music video.
XG is a Japanese girl group based in South Korea. The group was formed by Xgalx, a subsidiary of Avex. The group is composed of seven members: Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Juria, Cocona, Maya, and Harvey. They made their debut on March 18, 2022, with the release of the digital single "Tippy Toes".
