Malaysia Songs is a music record chart in the Malaysia, compiled by Billboard since February 2022. It is part of Billboard's Hits of the World chart collection, ranking the top 25 songs weekly in more than 40 countries around the globe. [1]

Contents

The first number-one song on the chart was "Angel Baby" by Troye Sivan on the issue dated February 19, 2022. [2] The current number-one song on the chart is "Apt." by Rosé and Bruno Mars. [3]

Methodology

The chart follows the FridayThursday reporting period, and will be updated each Tuesday morning (ET). The chart consist of 25 songs, ranked based on song consumption methodology — blending streams and sales — in Malaysia during the tracking period. All data are provided by Luminate Data, formerly MRC Data. [1]

It was partially written during the Hooligans in Wondaland Tour in the United States and finished after the singer watched an early version of the movie which inspired him. The soundtrack for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 was a much expected release and Mars's song was chosen as the lead single by the album's executive producer, Alexandra Patsavas, to promote it. "Wild" is a song by Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan from his fourth extended play (EP), Wild (2015). It was written by Sivan and Alex Hope, and a revised version features a contribution from Alessia Cara. The song was released on 3 September 2015 and promoted as its lead single. It is also featured on Sivan's debut studio album, Blue Neighbourhood (2015).
