Binibining Pilipinas 2024 (billed as the Diamond Edition) was the 60th edition of the Binibining Pilipinas pageant, held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines, on July 7, 2024. [1] [2]
At the end of the event, Angelica Lopez of Palawan crowned Myrna Esguerra of Abra as Binibining Pilipinas International 2024 and Anna Lakrini crowned Jasmin Bungay of Pampanga as Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2024. Christal Jean dela Cruz of Zambales was named first runner-up, and Trisha Martinez of Pila, Laguna was named second runner-up.
Forty contestants competed in this edition. The competition was presented by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa, Miss Universe Philippines 2014 Mary Jean Lastimosa, Miss Grand International 2016 first runner-up Nicole Cordoves, and Miss World 1993 second princess Ruffa Gutierrez. The competition also featured the debut of the new crowns designed by Filipino jewelry maker Manny Halasan. [3] [4]
On February 13, 2024, the organization launched its search for the next set of candidates who will represent the Philippines at different international pageants. The final submission of the application was on March 22, 2024. [5] The final screening and selection of the official contestants were conducted on April 5, 2024. [6] [7]

Binibining Pilipinas is the oldest active national beauty pageant in the Philippines. Founded in 1964, it currently selects Filipina representatives to compete in one of the Big Four international beauty pageants—Miss International, as well as representatives to other international pageants, such as The Miss Globe.

Miss Universe Philippines 2020 was the first edition of the Miss Universe Philippines pageant under its new organization. Previously, the Philippine franchise for Miss Universe was under Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. The coronation night was initially scheduled for 3 May 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it moved at least twice; first to 14 June 2020, and later to 25 October 2020, at the Cordillera Convention Hall, Baguio Country Club in Baguio, Benguet.
Binibining Pilipinas 2021 was the 57th edition of Binibining Pilipinas. Originally scheduled to be held in 2020, the coronation night of the pageant was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was rescheduled to July 11, 2021 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines with Catriona Gray and Nicole Cordoves as presenters. Due to the restrictions caused by the disease at the time of the pageant, several health and safety protocols were implemented to ensure the safety of the artists, candidates, crew and organizers of the event.
