Bompietro (Sicilian: Bompietru) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Palermo in the Italian region Sicily, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) southeast of Palermo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,640 and an area of 42.4 square kilometres (16.4 sq mi). [1]
