Barghban (Persian : برقبان‎, also Romanized as Barqebān, Barqebān, Barghebān, and Barqbān; also known as Bargheyān, Barghīān, Barqabeh, Borghbeh, Tabailak, and Varqabeh)^[1] is a village in Tabas Rural District, in the Central District of Khoshab County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,115, in 295 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Tabas Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Khoshab County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 11,822, in 3,342 families. The rural district has 24 villages.
