Brent Erickson is an American computer and video game developer.
Erickson has been programming computer games since he was 12. [1] At the age of 13 he produced/published a text-based adventure game called "Trek For Riches" [1] for the TRS-80. [2]
In 1992, he founded Flashpoint Productions [1] which was sold to Bethesda Softworks in 1995. [3] [4]
Erickson has been credited in over 50 software titles including such products as Martian Memorandum, Mean Streets, and the extremely popular golf simulation program, Links. [5]
He lived in Steilacoom as a child before his family moved to Salt Lake City. [1] He attended the University of Utah for four years, but he never got his business degree because he was too busy actually working. [1]

Bethesda Softworks LLC is an American video game publisher based in Rockville, Maryland. The company was founded by Christopher Weaver in 1986 as a division of Media Technology Limited, and in 1999 became a subsidiary of ZeniMax Media. In its first fifteen years, it was a video game developer and self-published its titles. In 2001, Bethesda spun off its own in-house development team into Bethesda Game Studios, and Bethesda Softworks retained only its publishing function. In 2021, Microsoft purchased ZeniMax, maintaining that the company will continue to operate as a separate business.
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is an open-world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the third installment in the Elder Scrolls series, following 1996's The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, and was released in 2002 for Microsoft Windows and Xbox. The main story takes place on Vvardenfell, an island in the Dunmer province of Morrowind, part of the continent of Tamriel. The central quests concern the demigod Dagoth Ur, housed within the volcanic Red Mountain, who seeks to gain power and break Morrowind free from Imperial reign.
Sea Dogs (Корсары) is a 2000 Russian role-playing video game for Microsoft Windows, developed by Akella and published by Bethesda Softworks. In it, the player is the captain of a ship and can serve as a privateer to a European power, or as a pirate. The game uses a custom 3D game engine and includes gameplay similar to Sid Meier's Pirates!, while also being a true inter-character dialog-centered RPG.
