Brent William Hilliard (born April 13, 1970) [1] is an American former volleyball player and coach who competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain and won a bronze medal. [2]

College

Hilliard played college volleyball at Long Beach State and led the team to its first NCAA Men's Championship title in 1991. [3] [2] He was selected as the Most Outstanding Player of the 1991 NCAA Championship tournament. [4] He also set the NCAA record for most all-time kills with 3,034. [2] He was a three-time All-American, and was named the 1992 National Player of the Year by Volleyball Monthly. [3]

Hilliard was inducted into the Long Beach State Hall of Fame in 1998. [3]

Coaching

Hilliard was an associate coach for women's volleyball at the University of San Diego for two decades, and is currently the head coach for women's volleyball at San Diego State University. [2]

Ramón "Moncho" Hernández Cruz, more commonly known as Ramón Hernández, is a Puerto Rican volleyball coach and former volleyball player. Hernández won the bronze medal in the men's beach volleyball team competition at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, partnering with Raúl Papaleo. He represented Puerto Rico in beach volleyball at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

Tayyiba Mumtaz Haneef-Park is an American indoor volleyball head coach and former player. She played at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, where the team finished in 5th place. Haneef-Park also competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where she won a silver medal with team USA. After her pregnancy in 2010, she returned to Team USA to repeat their silver medal performance at the 2012 London Olympics. Both times USA lost to Brazil. She is currently the head coach of the San Diego Mojo of the Pro Volleyball Federation.

Brett Winslow is an American former volleyball player who was a member of the United States men's national volleyball team that finished in ninth place at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.
