Broadfield is a small village south of Saundersfoot in the parish and community of St Mary Out Liberty in Pembrokeshire, Wales. [1]
Broadfield lies within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and close to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The A478 road to Tenby passes to the west of the village, and the B4316 road runs through it. A major amenity is Broadfield Caravan Park, [2] accommodating summer visitors to the resorts of Saundersfoot to the north and Tenby to the south. [3]
Broadfield was an isolated rural agricultural area in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Broadfield Cottage is shown on a 1841 map, and the Royal Commission recorded Broadfield Cottage and Homestead (subsequently Broadfield Farm). [4] A pre-1850 parish map of St Mary out Liberty shows Broadfield in the north east of the parish. [5] Even a 1906 map shows very few buildings. [6]
Bethesda Calvinistic Methodist Chapel [7] was built on Sandy Lane (on the A478) in 1826. It was rebuilt in 1864 and again 30 years later. [8]
St Mary's Church, Tenby is a church located in the centre of the town of Tenby in Pembrokeshire, western Wales. The church is in the Diocese of Saint David's within the Church in Wales, and a member of the Anglican Communion. It is the parish church for St Mary In Liberty and St Mary Out Liberty.
The A478 road is a major road in Wales. The route is from its junction with the A487 at Cardigan, Ceredigion, to Tenby, Pembrokeshire. It crosses the Preseli Hills and winds through farmland for almost all of its route. The road just touches the very west of Carmarthenshire.

Cilymaenllwyd is a community on the extreme northwest of Carmarthenshire in Wales. The community population at the 2011 census was 742. It lies about 25 miles (40 km) west of Carmarthen, 12 miles (19 km) southeast of Fishguard and 15 miles (24 km) northeast of Haverfordwest. The A478 road runs through the community.
Begelly is a village and parish in south Pembrokeshire, Wales, 4.3 miles (6.9 km) north of Tenby on the A478 road. The parish includes the hamlets of Thomas Chapel 51°44′36″N4°44′42″W and Broom and has a web of small settlements associated with the 19th century anthracite mining industry. The parish, together with the parish of Reynalton and part (Kilgetty) of St. Issells, constitutes the community and ward of Kilgetty/Begelly. Begelly had a population of 761 in 2011.

Pentre Galar is a small settlement in the Preseli Mountains south of the village of Crymych, north Pembrokeshire, Wales, on the A478 Cardigan to Tenby road. The western part of the settlement lies in the parish of Mynachlog-ddu and the eastern part in Llanfyrnach parish.
New Hedges is a village in the community of St Mary Out Liberty, Pembrokeshire, Wales. It is midway between the coastal towns of Saundersfoot and Tenby. It lies astride the main A478 road that links Tenby with Cardigan and is a short distance from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
