Kwai Tsing is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. It consists of two parts - Kwai Chung and Tsing Yi Island. Kwai Tsing is part of the New Territories. It had a population of 520,572 in 2016. The district has the third least educated residents and their income is below average.
Chai Wan, formerly known as Sai Wan (西灣), lies at the east end of the urban area of Hong Kong Island next to Shau Kei Wan. The area is administratively part of the Eastern District, and is a mosaic of industrial and residential areas. The population was 186,505 in 2001.
Tsing Yi, sometimes referred to as Tsing Yi Island, is an island in the New Territories of Hong Kong, to the northwest of Hong Kong Island and south of Tsuen Wan. With an area of 10.69 km2 (4.13 sq mi), the island has been extended drastically by reclamation along almost all its natural shore and the annexation of Nga Ying Chau (牙鷹洲) and Chau Tsai. Three major bays or harbours, Tsing Yi Lagoon, Mun Tsai Tong, and Tsing Yi Bay (青衣灣) in the northeast, have been completely reclaimed for new towns.
Hong Kong Buddhist Association is a Buddhist umbrella organisation in Hong Kong which was founded in 1945. The association has nearly ten thousands individual members including both monastic and laity, and promotes the propagation of Buddhism in Hong Kong. It also provides a series of charity services in Hong Kong, including education, medical, child care, youth activities, elderly care and burial.
Islamic Kasim Tuet Memorial College (IKTMC) is a secondary school in Chai Wan, Hong Kong. It is named after Kasim Tuet, a Hui Muslim who played a major role in the development of Chinese Muslim education in the city. Formerly known as the Islamic College, it is the only Islamic secondary school aided by the Hong Kong Education Bureau (EDB).
Buddhist Tai Hung College is a school. It is located in the Cheung Sha Wan area of Sham Shui Po district of Kowloon, Hong Kong, near Caritas Medical Centre. Established in 1969, it was the second school established by the Hong Kong Buddhist Association.
Buddhist Mau Fung Memorial College is a co-ed Hong Kong secondary school located in Tin Shui Wai, New Territories. It uses Chinese as the medium of instruction for all subjects except English class.
