Bukovets is a village in Svoge Municipality, Sofia Province, western Bulgaria. [1]
It is known for its Saint Nicholas church, built by Crusaders in the 12th century. [2] [3]
Svoge is a town in western Bulgaria, part of Sofia Province. It is located in the gorge of the Iskar River, at the place where the mountains Mala planina, Golema planina, and Ponor meet, 40 km north of the capital Sofia. Svoge is the main town of the Svoge Municipality which is one of the largest municipalities in Bulgaria and includes also 37 villages & the town of Svoge itself. By Decree No. 546 of the Presidium of the National Assembly on 7 September 1964 Svoge was declared as a city.
Leskovdol is a mountainous village in Western Bulgaria situated in Golema mountain, part of the Balkan mountain range. It is located 45 kilometers north from Sofia within Svoge Municipality. According to the 2021 census the settlment has 65 inhabitants. Several places of interest are located nearby Leskovdol with Seven Altars monastery, Izdremets peak and a section of the Kom–Emine long-distance footpath being the main ones.
FC Sportist is a Bulgarian football club based in Svoge, which currently competes in the Second League, the second tier of Bulgarian football, following promotion from the Third League.
The 2009–10 A Group was the 86th season of the Bulgarian national top football division, and the 62nd of A Group as the top tier football league in the country. It began on 7 August 2009 with the game between Beroe and Lokomotiv Sofia. The last round took place on 16 May 2010. Levski Sofia were the defending champions, but they were unable to defend it and Litex Lovech won the title, which was their third overall.
Chavdar Tsvetkov Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Svoge, Bulgaria. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FC Sportist Svoge. The stadium holds a capacity for 3,500 spectators.

The 2020–21 Bulgarian Cup was the 39th official edition of the Bulgarian annual football knockout tournament. The competition began on 29 September 2020 with the preliminary round and finished with the final on 19 May 2021. Lokomotiv Plovdiv were the defending cup winners, but were eliminated after extra time by Ludogorets Razgrad in the quarter-finals. After CSKA Sofia missed out on the cup after losing last year's final, this time they won it against Arda Kardzhali for their 21st cup title and qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2021–22 UEFA Europa Conference League.
