"Fairview", also known as the Peerce Home Place, Peerce House, and Rural Retreat, is a historic home and national historic district located near Burlington, Mineral County, West Virginia. The district includes seven contributing buildings and one contributing site. The main house was most likely built in the 1860s. It is a two-story, square brick dwelling with a rectangular wing in a transitional Federal-Greek Revival style. It has a hipped roof, capped by a cupola and a one-story portico with painted wooden Ionic order columns. Also on the property are a contributing log cabin and a number of farm-related outbuildings.

They are warehouses and commercial style buildings and structures between Main Street and the Ohio River. All of the buildings date to the late-19th and early-20th century. The warehouses are mostly two- and three-story masonry buildings. The two-story commercial buildings have storefronts on the first floor and residential units above. Notable buildings and structures include the Pump Store (1933), Wheeling Stamping Plant (1932), Allied Plate Glass, Warwick China, Boury Warehouse, Ott-Heiskell Company, Edward Wagner Wholesale Grocers building (1915), the Moderne style former Greyhound Bus Station, and Main Street Bridge (1891).
Tygart Valley Homesteads Historic District is a national historic district located near Dailey, Randolph County, West Virginia. It encompasses 337 contributing buildings, three contributing sites, and three contributing structures, associated with a resettlement community established during the Great Depression by the Roosevelt administration. It was the largest of the three resettlement communities in West Virginia, the others being Arthurdale and Eleanor. The first dwellings were constructed in 1934, and the Civilian Conservation Corps built the public water system, draining systems, and culverts. The houses have modest Colonial Revival architecture details and have either a side gable or gambrel roof, referred to as either an "A-Frame" or "Barn House." Other notable buildings include the Dailey Community Center (1937), gas station (1940), The Homestead School (1939), The East Dailey Bridge (1938), Community Farm, The Warehouse, The Woodworking Shop, and The Weaving Shop.

All total there are 122 resources within the district, which includes 108 contributing and 14 non-contributing properties.
