Burton Hardware Store, also known as Burton Brothers Hardware Store, was a historic commercial building located at Seaford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built about 1900, and was a two-story, roughly square, frame structure. It had a low-pitched roof and was partially sheathed in sheet metal imitations of rusticated cement blocks. The front facade featured an elaborate pressed metal cornice. [2]

Scott's Store is a historic commercial building located near Bridgeville, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built about 1875, and is a two-story, rectangular, frame structure in a simplified Victorian Gothic style. It sits on a brick foundation, is sheathed in weatherboard, and a gable roof. The storefront has a pair of double doors and there is the large one-story, hipped porch roof extending across the face of the building. Also on the property are a contributing garage and outhouse, and a submerged round metal tank used to mix carbide gas. It is typical of the no longer numerous 19th-century country stores of southern Delaware.

The interior has wide floor boards and a narrow enclosed staircase winding around the chimney. It is one of Sussex County's oldest brick structures. A small frame addition from the 1970s is attached to the northern end.

It was built in 1859, and is a two-story, brick mansion in three main connected blocks in an "H"-shape. It is in the Italianate style and features a three-story tower in the central space. The interior retains its original plaster mouldings, its Victorian trim, doors, and original inside shutters. It was the home of Delaware Governor William H. H. Ross (1814-1887), who built the home along the railroad he helped to establish.

Hearn and Rawlins Mill, also known as the Cannon and Ross Mill and Hearn Mill, is a historic grist mill complex located near Seaford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built about 1880, on the site of a previous mill built in 1820. It is a water powered mill with two overshot wheels installed in 1912. The mill and two associated warehouses are frame buildings, sheathed in metal, on brick footings. They are located on an earthen dam, rebuilt in 1912.

Seaford Station Complex is a historic railway station complex and national historic district located at Seaford, Sussex County, Delaware. It includes two contributing buildings and two contributing structures and considered an outstanding example of a turn-of-the-20th century, unaltered, small-town railroad complex in Delaware. They are the Seaford Railroad Station, Seaford Freight Station, the Nanticoke River moveable railroad bridge, and mainline railroad tracks. The Seaford Railroad Station is brick rectangular building with a large bracketed overhang, built about 1905. The Seaford Freight Station was built about the same time, and consists of an open porch, covered by an arcaded extension of the roof, with an office and store room. The Nanticoke River moveable railroad bridge is an iron through-truss structure carrying a single track. It was built about 1890 by the Pencoyd Bridge and Construction Company of Pencoyd, Pennsylvania. The main line track north of the depot was double-tracked just before World War I.

Lewes Historic District is a national historic district located at Lewes, Sussex County, Delaware. The district includes 122 contributing buildings and 6 contributing sites encompassing most of the 17th-century town of Lewes, together with part of Pilot Town. The district is primarily residential with resources ranging from small working-class houses to large and ornate houses from the Victorian period in a variety of popular styles including Queen Anne and Second Empire. Also included in the district is the Market Street commercial area, including three frame store buildings and the elaborate Smith Block. Other notable buildings include St. Peter's Episcopal Church, the Ellis Marine Complex, Cannonball House, Governor Ebe W. Burton–Blackstone–Carey Store United States historic place

The Burton–Blackstone–Carey Store is a historic commercial building at 103 State Street in Millsboro, Delaware. It is a 2-1/2 story wood frame structure with vernacular Greek Revival styling. Built c. 1840, it is Millsboro's oldest surviving commercial building. Originally located at the corner of Main and State Streets, it was moved a short distance down State Street in 1918 to make way for the construction of the Delaware Trust building. The building has retained much original fabric, including original siding material, most of which is now preserved under more recent metal siding.
