Route 204 is a finite two-lane east/west highway on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River in Quebec. It is one of the longest secondary highways in the province. Its eastern terminus is in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli at the junction of Route 132 and the western terminus is in Lac-Mégantic at the junction of Route 161. Although it is numbered as an east/west highway, the road follows a north/south course from Saint-Jean-Port-Joli to Saint-Pamphile, where it then follows a mostly southwest/northeast course until Saint-Georges, where after crossing the Chaudière River, follows it in a north/south course until the source of the Chaudiere in Megantic Lake, in Lac-Mégantic.

Mont Mégantic is a monadnock located in Québec, Canada, about 15 km north of the border between Québec and the U.S. states of Maine and New Hampshire. Mégantic is on the border of the regional county municipalities of Le Granit and Le Haut-Saint-François. Its summit is the highest point of the latter. Many geologists believe that Mont Mégantic is a member of the Monteregian Hills formed by the New England hotspot, as it has the same mechanism and depth of intrusion.

The territory it covered is today divided into the regional county municipalities of Le Granit in the administrative regions of the Estrie and Beauce-Sartigan in Chaudière-Appalaches. Its capital was the municipality of Lac-Mégantic.
The Commission scolaire du Val-des-Cerfs was a francophone school district in the Canadian province of Quebec. It comprises several primary schools and high schools across twenty-nine municipalities in the Montérégie region. The commission is overseen by a board of elected school trustees. It is the result of the 1998 reforms in education which caused the fusion of the school districts Des Cantons, Des Rivières and Davignon.
