Lacrosse Canada, formerly the Canadian Lacrosse Association, founded in 1867, is the governing body of lacrosse in Canada. The league features twenty-five teams in Ontario, one in Quebec, and one in the Akwesasne that annually play a 20-game schedule and four rounds of playoffs for the J. A. MacDonald Trophy. After the conclusion of the playoffs, a league champion represents the OJBLL at the Founders Cup National Junior B Championship.
The Ontario Junior Lacrosse League (OJLL) is considered the most competitive Junior A men's box lacrosse league in the world and the number one source for talent for the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The OJLL is sanctioned by the Ontario Lacrosse Association. It is an 11 team league wherein the top 8 go to the playoffs and battle it out for top spot in Ontario. The Ontario Champion is annually awarded the Iroquois Trophy and moves on to compete against teams from Alberta and British Columbia for the Minto Cup - the Junior A National Box Lacrosse Championship of Canada. Ontario has captured the Minto Cup fifty-six times since 1937. Since the first NLL draft in 1996, sixteen OJLL alumni have been selected first overall.
The Mimico Mountaineers or Mimico Lacrosse Club is a Jr. A box lacrosse association in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Mountaineers operate junior-age and younger teams. Their home arena is Mimico Arena in the Mimico neighbourhood of Toronto. Beginning in 2015, their primary junior team will be a member of the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League. From 1993 until 2014, the Mountaineers were members of the Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League.
The Oakville Buzz are Canadian box lacrosse team from Oakville, Ontario, Canada that play in the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League. The Buzz played in the OLA Junior B Lacrosse League from 2001-2018. The Buzz won the 2006 Founders Cup Canadian Junior B National Champions.

Shawn Evans is a Canadian professional lacrosse player who plays for the Vancouver Warriors in the National Lacrosse League, and the Connecticut Hammerheads of Major League Lacrosse. Evans' brothers, Scott and Stephen have also played in the NLL. Evans is one of two lacrosse player in history to win the Minto Cup, the Mann Cup, and the NLL Champion's Cup all within 12 months of each other. He is also only one of three lacrosse players in history to win 2 Minto Cups back to back with 2 different Junior teams.
The British Columbia Junior A Lacrosse League is a junior box lacrosse league based in British Columbia, Canada. The BCJALL is one of three leagues that constitute as Junior A within the Canadian Lacrosse Association as the highest level of junior, ages 16 to 21 years old, box lacrosse in Canada. The BCJALL currently consists of eight (8) teams located throughout the Lower Mainland (6) and Vancouver Island (2). Regular Season play begins the last week of April through to the first week of July. Teams compete annually for the British Columbia Provincial Championship, with the winner moving on to play for the Minto Cup, the Canadian National Championship.
The Junior A Mountaineers Lacrosse Club was established in 2006 as an expansion team to the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League (RMLL) Junior A program bringing the total number of Junior A lacrosse teams in Alberta to four. Playing out of Calgary, the Mounties home rink is Stu Peppard. The Mounties have played in 2 Minto Cup Championships, once being hosted in 2008 at Max Bell Arena
The Calgary Mountaineers are a box lacrosse organization based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The organization represents teams at three levels of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League: a Senior B squad, along with a Junior A team and a Junior B team.
Adam Jones is a professional Canadian lacrosse player who plays for the Toronto Rock in the National Lacrosse League. Jones is also a member of Owen Sound Northstars in the Ontario Senior B lacrosse league and the Langley Thunder in the Western Lacrosse Association (WLA). In 2013 he was named the sixteenth best indoor lacrosse player in the world by Ilindoor magazine.

Mitchell Jones is a Canadian professional box lacrosse player for the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). Jones also played for the Chrome Lacrosse Club of the Premier Lacrosse League.
The Calgary Shamrocks are a Canadian Junior box lacrosse team from Calgary, Alberta. The Shamrocks play in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League's Junior B Tier I league. On August 18, 2019, the Shamrocks became the fourth team in Alberta's history to win the Founders Cup national lacrosse championship.
