Carabus masuzoi is a species of ground beetle, family of Carabidae. [2] [3] It is endemic to Taiwan, [2] [3] and was first found in mid-altitude mountains of central Taiwan. [1] [4] Its body is black colored with longitudinal indents on its elytra, and is capable of flight. [5] Its morphology differs between different habitat types. [4]
