Juan Luis Londoño Arias, known professionally as Maluma, is a Colombian singer. Born and raised in Medellín, he developed an interest in music at a young age, recording songs since age sixteen. He released his debut album, Magia, a year later in 2012. But, his breakthrough album was 2015's Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy, which led to successful collaborations with many artists. He released F.A.M.E. in 2018, another commercial success. He followed it with 11:11 in 2019, and Papi Juancho, surprise-released in 2020. His single "Hawái" reached number three on the Billboard Global 200, and became the first number one single on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart. Selling more than 18 million records, Maluma is one of the best-selling Latin music artists. Musically, Maluma's songs have been described as reggaeton, Latin trap, and pop.
Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy is the second studio album by Colombian singer Maluma, released on 30 October 2015, by Sony Music Latin. Work on the album lasted three years, during which Maluma collaborated with various songwriters and producers. Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy is a concept album meant to showcase the different facets of Maluma; the Pretty Boy side contains romantic balladry and the Dirty Boy consisting of reggaeton-infused seductive songs. Four singles were released from the album, "El Tiki" and "Borró Cassette" which preceded its release and "El Perdedor" and "Sin Contrato" – all of them were successful in countries across Latin America. In order to promote the album, Maluma embarked the Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy World Tour in 2016.

"El perdedor" is a song by Colombian singer Maluma taken from his second studio album Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy (2015). Sony Music Latin released it as the album's third single on 9 February 2016 following fan demand. It was written by JY and Maluma alongside Kevin Mauricio Jiménez, Bryan Snaider Lezcano Chaverra and Miky la Sensa. It was released on 8 July 2016, by the Mexican division of Warner Music Group as the album's lead single. On 2 December 2016, a remix featuring Colombian singer Maluma was released. The remix helped improve the song's overall chart performance and lead to the single having more success in Spain and various Latin American countries. The official music video for the remix was released on 1 December 2016 on Piso 21's YouTube account and has received over 520 million views.
"GPS" is a song recorded by Colombian singer Maluma featuring Moroccan-American rapper French Montana. It was one of the three promotional singles featured in the short film X, and was released on 24 November 2017, alongside "Vitamina" and "23" as a promotional single from Maluma's third studio album F.A.M.E.
