"El Tiki" (English: "The Tiki") is a song by Colombian singer Maluma from his album Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy . Sony Music Latin released it as the album's first single on 31 March 2015. The song received a nomination for Best Urban Performance at the 16th Latin Grammy Awards. [1]
The lyric video for "El Tiki' was released on the Maluma's official Vevo account on 8 May 2015. It features scenes of Maluma himself lip-syncing to the song as well as footage of his fans dancing. [2] The lyric video has been viewed over 155 million times.
"El Tiki" was performed live by Maluma in various concerts throughout 2016 as part of the set list of his tour in promotion of Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy. Las Vegas Sun journalist Chris Kudialis in review of a show in Las Vegas reported that the song "kept the crowd engaged". [3]

Reik is a Mexican pop rock band from Mexicali, Baja California, formed in 2003 by Jesús Alberto Navarro Rosas, Julio Ramírez Eguía, and Gilberto Marín Espinoza (guitar). José Álvaro Osorio Balvín, known professionally as J Balvin, is a Colombian singer and rapper. He has been referred to as the "Prince of Reggaeton", and is one of the best-selling Latin music artists with sales of more than 35 million records worldwide. Balvin was born in Medellín, Colombia. At age 17, he moved to the United States to learn English, where he lived in both Oklahoma and New York. He then returned to Medellín and gained popularity performing at clubs in the city.

Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy is the second studio album by Colombian singer Maluma, released on 30 October 2015, by Sony Music Latin. Work on the album lasted three years, during which Maluma collaborated with various songwriters and producers. Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy is a concept album meant to showcase the different facets of Maluma; the Pretty Boy side contains romantic balladry and the Dirty Boy consisting of reggaeton-infused seductive songs. Four singles were released from the album, "El Tiki" and "Borró Cassette" which preceded its release and "El Perdedor" and "Sin Contrato" – all of them were successful in countries across Latin America. In order to promote the album, Maluma embarked the Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy World Tour in 2016.
