Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown, known professionally as Swae Lee, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Known for his wide vocal range and genre-bending, Lee first saw mainstream recognition as one half of the Mississippi-based hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd, which he formed in 2010 with his brother Slim Jxmmi. They signed with Mike Will Made It's EarDrummer Records, an imprint of Interscope Records in 2013, and released four albums that spawned hit singles including "No Flex Zone," "No Type," and "Black Beatles" —the latter topped the Billboard Hot 100. He guest appeared on French Montana's 2017 single "Unforgettable," which peaked within the chart's top ten—becoming his first song to do so as a solo artist—and received diamond certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Later that year, he received a Grammy Award nomination for co-writing Beyoncé's single "Formation."

Rae Sremmurd signed to EarDrummers Entertainment in 2013 and released their debut studio album, SremmLife, on January 6, 2015. The album charted at number five on the US Billboard 200. It features the triple platinum single "No Type" and also includes the platinum singles "No Flex Zone", "Throw Sum Mo", "This Could Be Us" and "Come Get Her". Rae Sremmurd collaborated with American rapper Ty Dolla Sign and Future on platinum single "Blasé", which peaked at number 66 in the US. In 2016, they released their second studio album, SremmLife 2. The song was written by the two artists and Starrah, while production was handled by Madonna, Mike Dean, and Billboard. It was released by Interscope Records for digital download and streaming as the album's second single on May 10, 2019. The song has been noted as a pop, trap, and hip hop ballad inspired by Fado music, with the lyrics talking about desire and craving for someone who's running away. It was one of the first songs Madonna wrote for Madame X, but she put the work on hold when she began working with other musicians in Lisbon. When she revisited the song, Madonna came to the conclusion that a male voice was needed for inclusion and approached Swae Lee to sing with her, as she was a fan of his voice.

Produced by Jaegen, 1Mind, C.P Dubb, and Mike Will Made It, the song peaked at number three on the US Billboard Hot 100, making it French Montana's first song as a lead artist to reach the top 10 of that chart and Swae Lee's first as a solo artist. The official music video for "Unforgettable" has received over 1.7 billion views on YouTube.

"Fuck Love" is a song by American rapper XXXTentacion featuring fellow American rapper Trippie Redd, taken from the former's debut studio album 17. Written alongside Nick Mira, who produced it with Taz Taylor and Dex Duncan, the song was released on August 24, 2017, a day ahead of the album's release, before being sent to rhythmic radio on XXXTentacion's 20th birthday on January 23, 2018 as its third single.

"Moonlight" is a song written and performed by American rapper XXXTentacion from his second studio album ? (2018). It debuted and peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, where it became the second-highest charting song from the album and in XXXTentacion's discography.
