His single "Hawái" reached number three on the Billboard Global 200, and became the first number one single on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart. Selling more than 18 million records, Maluma is one of the best-selling Latin music artists. Musically, Maluma's songs have been described as reggaeton, Latin trap, and pop.

The Maluma World Tour was the first headlining concert tour by Colombian reggaeton singer Maluma, in support of his second studio album, Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy (2015). "Trap" is a song by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira released as the seventh official single from El Dorado on 26 January 2018.
