Carr Lane is an unincorporated community in Stone County, Missouri, United States. [1] Located at the intersection of State Routes 39 and 86, it lies approximately one mile north of the Arkansas state line and one mile east of the Stone - Barry county line. [2] The community is part of the Branson, Missouri Micropolitan Statistical Area.

Stone County is a county located in the southwestern portion of the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2010 census, the population was 32,202. Its county seat is Galena.

History

A variant name was "Carr". [1] A post office called Carr was established in 1884, and remained in operation until 1918. [3] The community once contained the Carr Lane Schoolhouse. [4] The area has the name of the local Carr family. [4]
