Voltage DC is the eponymous second studio album by Puerto Rican reggaeton performer Voltio, released on December 27, 2005, by Sony BMG and White Lion.

White Lion Records is a reggaeton, Latin Music, Latín reggae and urbano record label established by Elías de León with the release of the album No Mercy by Daddy Yankee in 1995. The label would temporarily change its name to 'Boricua Guerrero' from 1996-2001 until reestablishing as White Lion Records with the releases of Maicol y Manuel's "Como En Los Tiempos De Antes" and the compilation "Planet Reggae" in 2002. As an independent label in 2003, it was selling over 100,000 copies of Tego Calderon's most recent album at the time; it soon after signed a distribution deal with Sony BMG.

Jowell & Randy Puerto Rican reggaeton duo

Jowell & Randy are a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo composed of Joel Muñoz and Randy Ortiz. The duo have been active since the early-2000s and have become one of the most popular acts in reggaeton. They have released three studio albums, five mixtapes and twenty-three singles as of June 2017. They were also members of the short-lived group Casa de Leones alongside J King & Maximan and Guelo Star. They became the first reggaeton acts to perform in the Principality of Monaco and the first reggaeton duo to do so in Australia.

Ñejo & Dálmata, also known as Ñejo y Dálmata, are a reggaeton duo from Ponce, Puerto Rico. Ñejo was born June 20, 1975 & Dálmata was born February 27, 1979. They had worked together in collaborations with other reggaeton artists before they released their duo album Broke & Famous in 2007 which peaked at 8 on the 'Billboard Latin Rhythms Albums Chart" and at 9 on the "Top Heatseekers Chart", as well as a number of their singles also charting on Billboard.

He has been recognized three times for his compositions at the ASCAP Awards.

Eva María Muñoz Ruíz, known professionally as Evita Muñoz "Chachita", was a Mexican actress, comedian, singer and dancer. Her professional career began in 1941, when she was only four years old, and she continued performing through, and contributing to, the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. Muñoz was still four years old when she played the character Chachita in her second film, ¡Ay, Jalisco, no te rajes! (1941), and went on to play Chachita in eight more films and numerous television roles over the subsequent decades, and would be credited as Eva Muñoz "Chachita" in other appearances. For more than 75 years, "Chachita" was recognized as a successful artist in cinema, television, theater, radio, nightclub and circus shows.

Joel Muñoz Martinez and Randy Ariel Ortiz Acevedo, best known as Jowell & Randy, is a reggaeton duo from San Juan, Puerto Rico. They met in 2000 and began working as a duo a year later, reaching international success in 2007 as members of Casa de Leones alongside compatriot rappers J King & Maximan and Guelo Star. Jowell & Randy's first studio album as duo, Los Más Sueltos del Reggaetón, was released in December 2007 under Warner Music Group and White Lion Records, a record label founded by Elías de Leon, one of reggaeton's most respected producers. However, their most successful album was El Momento, released in May 2010 under Wisin & Yandel's WY Records. It achieved the duo's highest debut on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, peaking at number 2 and charting for 12 weeks. Three years later, they released their third and yet last studio album, Sobredoxis, which debuted at number-one on Billboard's Latin Rhythm Albums chart. After that, the duo went to underground reggaeton, supporting new acts and serving as executive producers to their respective albums. The duo also released four non-successful mixtapes between 2010 and 2016: Tengan Paciencia, Pre-Doxis, Under Doxis and La Alcaldía del Perreo. During their career, Jowell & Randy performed different music genres, including reggaeton, underground reggaeton, reggae, latin pop, dancehall, pop rock and tribal.

21st Annual Latin Grammy Awards Music awards presented Nov 2020

The 21st Annual Latin Grammy Awards were held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 and broadcast on Univision. The 2020 Latin Grammy ceremony was anchored from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, though the health protocols enacted due to the COVID-19 pandemic meant there was no live audience in the venue, and performances were presented from remote locations from many parts of the world. The telecast marked the 21st anniversary of the Latin Grammy Awards and honored musical releases within Latin music released from June 1, 2019 to May 31, 2020. Nominations were announced on September 29.

<i>Afrodisíaco</i> 2020 studio album by Rauw Alejandro

Afrodisíaco is the debut studio album Puerto Rican singer Rauw Alejandro, released on November 13, 2020, through Sony Music Latin and Duars Entertainment. The album was produced by Alejandro himself, Eydren con el Ritmo, Caleb Calloway, Kenobi, Colla, Rosalía, Sky Rompiendo, Dimelo Flow, The Martinez Brothers, Mr. NaisGai and Tainy, among others, and features collaborations with reggaeton and hip hop artists like Anuel AA, J Balvin, Trippie Redd, Wisin & Yandel, Zion, Lennox, Arcángel, Myke Towers, Farruko, Sech and Camilo. The album is composed of sixteen songs, with most of them having a feature from an artist, the album also includes a new version of the 2004 song "Soy una Gárgola" by Randy and Arcángel.
