Castronia is a monotypic moth genus in the subfamily Arctiinae erected by E. Dukinfield Jones in 1912. Its only species, Castronia apostata, was first described by Schaus in 1905. It is found in Brazil. [1]
George Wallace Jones was an American frontiersman, entrepreneur, attorney, and judge, was among the first two United States Senators to represent the state of Iowa after it was admitted to the Union in 1846.
