Cedar Beach is a public recreational beach of the Town of Babylon, in Suffolk County, New York. It is located on Jones Beach Island, a barrier island off of Long Island, between the populated places of Gilgo and Oak Beach. There are no residents.
The beach is open to town residents and the general public during the summer season. During this time, lifeguards are on duty on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. There are also limited preseason hours beginning Memorial Day weekend. [1] Access to the beach is via Ocean Parkway. Free parking is available for town residents with recreation permits. Non-residents and residents without permits may pay a daily fee to park ($20 Monday through Thursday; $40 Friday through Sunday and holidays). [1]
Cedar Beach features a playground, a picnic area with grills, a basketball court, a handball court, and numerous beach volleyball courts. [1] Associated with the beach are a marina, [2] a campground, [2] and a golf/disc golf course. [3] The town's September 11th memorial is located in the dunes here. [4] Nearby is the New York Sportfishing Education Center, associated with Cornell Cooperative Extension. [5] [6] Located adjacent to Cedar Beach is Overlook Beach, another Town of Babylon beach; however, this beach is residents only. [7]
Concessions at Cedar Beach have been managed by the Salt Shack since 2018. [8]

The park is one of three state parks located in the Town of Hempstead on Long Island. Like Hempstead Lake State Park, Valley Stream State Park contained Cornell's Pond, a feeder reservoir for the Ridgewood Reservoir.
The Ocean Parkway is a 15.59-mile (25.09 km) limited-access parkway that traverses Jones Beach Island between Jones Beach State Park and Captree State Park on Long Island, New York, in the United States. It begins at the southern terminus of the Meadowbrook State Parkway and heads east across Jones Beach Island, intersecting the south end of the Wantagh State Parkway before ending just past the southern terminus of the Robert Moses Causeway. The highway is designated New York State Route 909D (NY 909D), an unsigned reference route.

Warriors' Path State Park is a 950-acre (3.84 km²) Tennessee State Park in Colonial Heights, Tennessee, an area within the city of Kingsport. It is named for the Great Indian Warpath that was used by the Iroquois in war raids with the Cherokee and other tribes. The park is located around the Fort Patrick Henry Reservoir and Duck Island on the South Fork Holston River. This land was acquired from the Tennessee Valley Authority in 1952.

Oak Beach–Captree, frequently just called Oak Beach, was a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Babylon in Suffolk County, New York, United States. The population was 286 at the 2010 census.
Greenwater Lake Provincial Park is a provincial park in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It is located on the eastern side of the province in the Porcupine Hills on Highway 38. The closest town, Porcupine Plain, is about 28 kilometres (17 mi) to the north-east of the park visitor centre. Founded on 19 February 1932, Greenwater is one of the oldest provincial parks in Saskatchewan. The original six parks were established in 1931 and Greenwater Provincial Park was added one year later. In 1964, the park was expanded to its current size.
