Cedar Valley is an extinct town in Taney County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. [1] The townsite was on Long Creek and Big Cedar Hollow just north of the current Missouri Route 86 bridge. The location is currently submerged under the waters of Table Rock Lake. [2] [3]

Taney County is a county located in the southwestern portion of the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2010 census, the population was 51,675. Its county seat is Forsyth. It is included in the Branson, Missouri, Micropolitan Statistical Area.

Cedar Creek or Cedarcreek is an unincorporated community in Taney County, Missouri, United States. It is located about fifteen miles southeast of Branson at the intersection of Missouri Supplemental Routes M and KK. The stream Cedar Creek lies about three miles north on route M. The community is part of the Branson, Missouri Micropolitan Statistical Area.

Fall Creek is a small creek with headwaters in Stone County just south of Missouri Route 76 and northeast of Silver Dollar City. The stream enters Taney County and flows southeast between Route 76 and Missouri Route 265 through west Branson and joins the White River downstream of the Table Rock Lake dam in south Branson. It flows parallel to and then under Missouri Route 165. The White River enters Lake Taneycomo downstream.

Eaudevie is an extinct town in southern Christian County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community was located along the east bank of Bull Creek at 36°50′30″N93°10′59″W at an elevation of 900 feet. U.S. 65 passes two miles west of the location.

Campbellton is an unincorporated community in northern Franklin County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community lies on Missouri Route 185 between Lyon to the southwest and Dundee to the northeast. Campbellton School is approximately 1.5 miles northeast on Route 185. Boeuf Creek drains the area to the north and the small stream, Slaughter Branch, flows past the village to the south.

The Stream headwaters arise just northeast of the route 65/86 junction northwest of Ridgedale at 36°31′57″N93°15′14″W and the former confluence with Long Creek is at 36°33′29″N93°17′35″W. The stream enters Table Rock Lake along a shoreline road in the Long Creek Recreation Area at 36°32′39″N93°15′42″W.

Gettman Hollow is a valley in Taney County in the Ozarks of southwestern Missouri. Gettman Hollow is a tributary to Bull Creek.

Gravelly Hollow is a valley in northern Taney County in the Ozarks of southwest Missouri. The stream in the valley is a tributary to Bull Creek.

Lime Kiln Mountain is a long ridge in Taney County in the Ozarks of southern Missouri. The ridge reaches an elevation of 1,330 feet (410 m) at 36°36′13″N92°53′22″W. US Route 160 traverses the ridgeline from Rueter in the southeast to Hilda in the northwest for a distance of approximately 7.5 mi (12.1 km). Cane Creek runs roughly parallel to the ridge along the northeast.

Melva is an extinct town in southern Taney County, in the Ozarks of southwest Missouri. The GNIS classifies it as a populated place. The site was located south of Hollister on the east bank of Turkey Creek along the Missouri Pacific Railroad line.

Mutton Hollow is a valley in western Taney County, Missouri. Mutton Hollow lies southwest of Missouri Route 76 west of Branson. It drains southwest and joins Fall Creek just east of the Taney-Stone County line. Mutton Hollow is approximately one mile in length. The head of Mutton Hollow is at about 1300 feet in elevation just below Route 76 and the elevation at the confluence with Fall Creek is 912 feet.

Nance is an extinct town in eastern Taney County, in the Ozarks of southwest Missouri. The GNIS classifies it as a populated place. The townsite sits above the east bank of the west fork of Big Creek about one mile north of U.S. Route 160 and about 1.7 miles west of the Taney - Ozark county line. The site is at an elevation of 876 feet.

Swan Creek is a stream in the Ozarks of southern Missouri. It is a tributary of the White River downstream from the Lake Taneycomo dam.

Turkey Creek is a stream in the Ozarks of southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. It is a tributary of Lake Taneycomo. The stream source is two-thirds of a mile south of the Missouri - Arkansas border in Boone County north of the village of Crest. The Missouri Pacific Railroad line follows the stream course after exiting the Crest railroad tunnel under Arkansas State Route 14 at Crest. North of the state line in Taney County the stream flows north through west Hollister to its confluence with Lake Taneycomo south of Branson. The stream covers a linear distance of 86 mi (138 km) between the border and its confluence.
