The Census Taker is the soundtrack to the 1984 movie of the same name, released in 1985. [2] [3]

Contents

The soundtrack was composed by The Residents and included some new tracks, such as "Hellno" and "Where Is She," as well as some reworked older songs. The first edition was pressed on red vinyl; subsequent pressings were on black.

Her version of Kay Starr’s Christmas classic "(Everybody's Waitin' for) The Man with the Bag", after it was featured on a season 4 episode of Ally McBeal, became a popular holiday song. She plays piano, bass, and guitar.

The Donnas American all-female rock band

The Donnas are an American rock band formed in Palo Alto, California in 1993. The band consists of Brett Anderson, Allison Robertson, Maya Ford and Amy Cesari. Cesari replaced Torry Castellano, who left the band in 2009 due to tendonitis. They draw inspiration from the Ramones, The Runaways, Girlschool, AC/DC, Bachman–Turner Overdrive and Kiss. Rolling Stone has stated that "the Donnas offer a guileless take on adolescent alienation; they traffic in kicks, not catharsis, fun rather than rage". MTV has stated that the band offers "a good old-fashioned rock & roll party". After gathering a cult following in the punk scene since their 1997 debut, the band achieved major label commercial success in the early 2000s and afterward as their music mixed punk, metal and classic rock sounds.

<i>Whatever Happened to Vileness Fats?</i> 1984 soundtrack album by The Residents

The Residents had begun a movie in 1972 called Vileness Fats. The concept of the movie was to shoot it on a new media form and tell most of the story through music. The story itself was about a village under siege by bandits stealing the meat supply, forcing the population to subsist on vegetables. Unbeknown to the population, the leader of the bandits is their own spiritual leader. To take care of things, the village hires Siamese twin tag-team wrestlers to be their saviours. Unfortunately their saviours also have other problems, including an Indian princess whose lovers always die.

Wilson had the Billboard hit singles "I Love Your Smile" and "Silent Prayer" in 1991 and "Saving Forever for You" in 1993. In 1999, Wilson scored another hit song, "When I Close My Eyes", which peaked at No. 12 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.
