Centrocerum elegans is a species of longhorn beetles (insects in the family Cerambycidae). It was described by Chevrolat in 1861. [4] The species has a South American distribution and is found in Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay and Argentina.
Louis Alexandre Auguste Chevrolat was a French entomologist, born 29 March 1799 at Paris and died 16 December 1884 in the same city.
