Chadwick E. "Chad" Harting (born February 20, 1972) is a retired American pole vaulter. [1]
He won the silver medal at the 1997 Summer Universiade.[ citation needed ] He competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, in the men's pole vault. [1] His personal best jump was 5.80 metres, achieved indoors in January 2000 in Reno, Nevada. [2]

He competed in Athletics at the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris and won bronze, behind fellow American polevaulters Lee Barnes and Glenn Graham, who won gold and silver medals respectively.
