Chad Terrell Scott (born June 11, 1981) is an American college football coach and former player. He is the interim head football coach, offensive coordinator, and running backs coach for West Virginia University, positions he has held since 2024. He has served in various assistant coach roles since 2006 and has been on the West Virginia staff since 2019.
West Virginia University named Scott the interim head coach on December 2, 2024, following the firing of Neal Brown. [1]

The South Florida Bulls football team represents the University of South Florida (USF). The Bulls began playing in 1997 and compete in the American Athletic Conference of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The team plays its home games at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Starting in 2027, the Bulls will host home games at a new $340 million on-campus stadium.
Victor Emanuel Koenning Jr. is a former professional American football player, and current Outside Linebacker coach at Louisiana–Monroe. He was the interim head coach at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2011 and was the head football coach at the University of Wyoming from 2000 to 2002, where he compiled a record of 5–29.

George Ragsdale is a former American football coach and former player. He was the interim head football coach at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio in 2021. Ragsdale is played college football at North Carolina A&T State University. and professionally with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL), and played in the United States Football League (USFL). He was used primarily as a kick returner. Ragsdale served as the interim head football coach at North Carolina A&T for the final four games of the 2008 season and at Grambling State University for four games in the middle of the 2013 season.

William L. Stewart, nicknamed "Stew", was an American football coach. He was named interim head coach of the West Virginia Mountaineers after Rich Rodriguez left for Michigan in December 2007. After leading the Mountaineers to a 48–28 victory over the Oklahoma Sooners in the Fiesta Bowl, he was named the school's 32nd head football coach on January 3, 2008. Stewart resigned in the summer of 2011. He was previously the head coach of Virginia Military Institute for three seasons.
Christopher Beatty is an American professional football coach who is the interim offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as the wide receivers coach for the Bears in 2024 and the Los Angeles Chargers from 2021 to 2023.
Pete Shinnick is an American college football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at the Towson University in Towson, Maryland. As the head coach of West Florida, Shinnick won the school's first football national championship in 2019. The football team began play in 2016. 2017 was a big year for Shinnick, as he led the University of West Florida Argonauts to the NCAA Division II playoffs, making them the fastest team to do so. He broke the record he held at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, that being three years. Shinnick also won the 2017 AFCA Region 2 Coach of the Year. He later won the 2017 AFCA Division II Coach of the Year. On December 21, 2019, Shinnick won the NCAA D-II National Championship with the UWF Argos in just the program's 4th year of existence.
The 2009 Clemson Tigers football team represented Clemson University in the 2009 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Tigers were led by head coach Dabo Swinney, who was in his first full season as head coach. The Tigers played their home games in Memorial Stadium. The Tigers won the ACC Atlantic Division, but after securing the title lost to in–state rival South Carolina in the Palmetto Bowl 34–17, before losing for the second time in the season to Georgia Tech in the ACC Championship Game. Clemson closed the season with a win over Kentucky in the Music City Bowl.
Robbie Caldwell is a retired American football coach, and previously served as the offensive line coach for Clemson University. Caldwell was formerly the head coach of the Vanderbilt Commodores football team. He has also been an assistant coach at Furman University, North Carolina State University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Vanderbilt University. On February 2, 2011 Clemson University named Caldwell offensive line coach to replace the retiring Brad Scott.

Shawn Elliott is an American college football coach and former player who is currently the tight ends coach and run game coordinator at the University of South Carolina, a position he has held since the 2024 season. Elliott served as the interim head football coach at the University of South Carolina for the final six games of the 2015 season. He joined the South Carolina Gamecocks football coaching staff in 2010 as the team's running game coordinator under Steve Spurrier. He was later named the co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. A day after South Carolina head coach Spurrier's resignation, Elliott was elevated to the position of head coach on an interim basis. He was then the Head Coach of Georgia State University from 2017-2024. On Feb 15, 2024, Shawn Elliott addressed members of team and staff before officially resigning his position as head coach of Georgia State to become an assistant coach at South Carolina.
Gerad Michael Parker is an American college football coach and former player. He is the head football coach for Troy University, a position he has held since 2024. He was previously the offensive coordinator and tight ends coach at the University of Notre Dame and the offensive coordinator at West Virginia University. Parker played as a wide receiver at the University of Kentucky from 2000 to 2004 for head coaches Hal Mumme, Guy Morriss, and Rich Brooks. He served as the interim head coach at Purdue University for six games in 2016.
Scott P. Abell is an American football coach and former minor league baseball player who is currently the head football coach at Rice University. Abell previously served as the head football coach at Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, from 2012 to 2017 and Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina from 2018 to 2024. Drafted by the Kansas City Royals in 1992, he played for one year in the Royals farm system until focusing on a career in coaching.

He also interned with the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, and Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Penn State as a defensive tackle where he was a member of their 1986 consensus national championship team.

He was the interim head football coach for North Carolina Central University in 2018. He also coached for York (ON), Arkansas State, Tiffin, Austin Peay, Hoover High School, and a previous stint with Alabama A&M. He played college football for Saint Mary's (NS) as a defensive back.
