Virbhadra Singh was popularly known by the honorific Raja Sahib. Singh holds the distinction of being the longest serving Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, holding the office from 1983 to 1990, from 1993 to 1998, from 2003 to 2007 and finally from 2012 to 2017, when he was succeeded by the BJP's Jai Ram Thakur. He was elected to the Lok Sabha in 1962, 1967, 1971, 1980 and 2009. Singh served as a Union Minister in the governments of Indira Gandhi and Manmohan Singh. At the time of his demise, he was serving as an MLA from Arki constituency.

Shish Ram Ola was a politician from Jhunjhunu district in Rajasthan. Ola dominated the Jat politics of Shekhawati region for a period of more than four decades. <span class="mw-page-title-main">Second Modi ministry</span> Government of India (2019–2024)

The Second Modi ministry, also called Modi 2.0 was the Council of Ministers headed by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi that was formed after the 2019 general election which was held in seven phases in 2019. The results of the election were announced on 23 May 2019 and this led to the formation of the 17th Lok Sabha. The oath ceremony was arranged in the courtyards of Rashtrapati Bhavan at Raisina Hill. The heads of the states of BIMSTEC countries were invited as guests of honor for this ceremony.

B. G. Kher was the first Chief Minister of Bombay State. He had been the Prime Minister of the Bombay Presidency since 1946. The Presidency, on India's independence on 15 August 1947 became the Bombay State. Kher served until 1952 Bombay legislative elections. His government was succeeded by that of Morarji Desai.
