Inuyasha is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. It was serialized in Shogakukan's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Sunday from November 1996 to June 2008, with its chapters collected in 56 tankōbon volumes. The series begins with Kagome Higurashi, a fifteen-year-old middle school girl from modern-day Tokyo who is transported to the Sengoku period after falling into a well in her family shrine, where she meets the half-dog demon, half-human Inuyasha. After the sacred Shikon Jewel re-emerges from deep inside Kagome's body, she inadvertently shatters it into dozens of fragments that scatter across Japan. Inuyasha and Kagome set to recover Jewel's fragments, and through their quest, they are joined by the lecherous monk Miroku, the demon slayer Sango, and the fox demon Shippō. Together, they journey to restore the Shikon Jewel before it falls into the hands of the evil half-demon Naraku.

Their name is usually written in English, and only rarely in katakana. They gained massive popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s. As of 2013, Every Little Thing has sold over 23 million copies of singles and albums throughout Japan. Their second studio album, Time to Destination, is the best-selling album of the band with over 3.5 million copies sold, and became the 10th best-selling album of all time in Japan.
Need Your Love is the sixth album from the Japanese band Do As Infinity. It was released on February 16, 2005. The first (pre-album) single release from Need Your Love was "Rakuen", also featured in the fourth movie in the InuYasha anime series. Several other songs from the album, including "For the Future" and "Be Free", have been featured on Japanese television, as well as Yotaka no Yume being featured as the opening theme of Zoids Genesis. Five different editions of this album were released, CD, CD+DVD, CD+DVD+T-shirt Van design, CD+DVD+T-shirt Ryo design, and SACD.
Orange Range are a 5-member Japanese rock band, based in Okinawa, Japan. Formed in 2001, the band began with Spice Music and later signed with Sony Music Japan's gr8! records division in 2003. The band left gr8! records in 2010 to start their own label, Super Echo. In 2012, they signed with Victor Entertainment's Speedstar Records label.

The discography of Do As Infinity, a J-pop and rock band formed in Aoyama, Tokyo, Japan, consists of 13 studio albums, 5 live albums, 10 compilation albums, 31 singles, 19 video releases, and 39 music videos. Composer Dai Nagao of Avex Trax hosted auditions for a band in 1999, eventually choosing Tomiko Van as lead vocalist and Ryo Owatari as guitarist. The trio released their first single "Tangerine Dream" in 1999 and released three more singles between 1999 and 2000 which appeared on their debut album Break of Dawn (2000). Break of Dawn did well commercially, peaking at No. 3 on the Japanese Oricon albums chart. In December 2000, Nagao decided to devote all his time to composing the music and no longer appeared at live events. Do As Infinity's next two studio albums released in 2001, New World and Deep Forest, both peaked at No. 1 on Oricon. The band released their first greatest hits compilation album Do the Best in 2002, which also charted at No. 1. "Re-sublimity" is Kotoko's second maxi single under Geneon Entertainment, released on November 17, 2004. The title track was used as an opening theme for the anime series Kannazuki no Miko while "Agony", its B-side, was used as the ending theme. "Suppuration -core-" was used as a soundtrack for the anime and a rearrangement of the song "Suppuration" appears in her Hane Live Tour 2004 Limited Album. The single peaked at number eight on the Oricon charts and charted for 12 weeks. Since it sold 50,119 copies, this is considered Kotoko's best selling single.
Nano Ripe is a Japanese pop rock duo that formed in 1998 as an indie band. They released three singles and four mini-albums before being signed to Lantis in 2010. Although the core of the band is made up of Kimiko and Jun Sasaki, when they debuted on Lantis in 2010, the band also consisted of bassist Nobuyuki Abe and drummer Shinn. Shinn left the band in 2011, but Yūki Aoyama joined the band as the drummer in 2013. Abe and Aoyama left the band in 2016.

"Tsuki" is a song recorded by Japanese singer Namie Amuro for her ballad-inspired concept compilation, Ballada (2014). It was distributed by Avex Trax and Amuro's record label, Dimension Point, on January 29, 2014 in Japan, and released worldwide as a digital single by Avex Music Creative Inc. The physical and digital formats included the two B-side tracks "Neonlight Lipstick" and "Ballerina", which later served as promotional singles online. "Tsuki" was written by Tiger, whilst production was handled by Hiro Doi and Zetton. Musically, the single is a J-Pop ballad with instrumentation consisting of synthesizers, bells, and chimes.
"Shin Takarajima" is a song by Japanese band Sakanaction. The band's frontman, Ichiro Yamaguchi, wrote the lyrics and music. Shin Takarajima is the band's 11th single, released on September 15, 2015 by Victor Entertainment. The song was the band's first single since the release of "Sayonara wa Emotion", after which they took a year's hiatus in light of bassist Ami Kusakari's pregnancy. The song was featured in the soundtrack for the live-action film Bakuman and departs from the style of Sakanaction's other albums, featuring pop influences, together with an alternative rock and dance music style.

The album includes the three singles "Tomadoi", "Trust Me" and "Ophelia", which peaked in the top 30 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. Will was Nakamori's final album under Gauss.
