Chap Chap (Persian : چپ چپ‎, also Romanized as Chepchep and Chop Chop)^[1] is a village in Zanjanrud-e Pain Rural District, Zanjanrud District, Zanjan County, Zanjan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 677, in 143 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Zanjanrud-e Pain Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Zanjanrud District, Zanjan County, Zanjan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 9,629, in 2,326 families; excluding Nik Pey, the population was 9,202, in 2,207 families. The rural district has 43 villages.

Zanjanrud District is a district (bakhsh) in Zanjan County, Zanjan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 30,426, in 7,235 families. The District has one city: Nik Pey.
