Zangin (Persian : زنگين‎ , also Romanized as Zangīn)^[1] is a village in Qanibeyglu Rural District, Zanjanrud District, Zanjan County, Zanjan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 234, in 45 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Qanibeyglu Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Zanjanrud District, Zanjan County, Zanjan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 9,629, in 2,326 families. The rural district has 32 villages.

Zanjanrud District is a district (bakhsh) in Zanjan County, Zanjan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 30,426, in 7,235 families. The District has one city: Nik Pey.
