Chen Yanhao (born 2 January 1972) is a retired Chinese hurdler who competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics.
He won the bronze medal at the 1990 Asian Junior Championships, [1] the silver medal at the 1993 Asian Championships, [2] the silver medal at the 1994 Asian Games, [3] the gold medal at the 1995 and 1998 Asian Championships and the 1998 Asian Games [2] [3] and also the silver medals at the 1997 and 2001 East Asian Games. [4]
On the world stage he finished fifth at the 1998 IAAF World Cup [5] and competed at the 1995 World Indoor Championships, the 1996 Olympic Games, the 1997 World Indoor Championships and the 1999 World Championships without reaching the final.
His personal best time was 13.37 seconds, achieved in May 2001 in Shanghai. [5] [6]
Abderrahmane Hammad Zaheer is the Algerian Minister of Youth and Sports and a former track and field athlete who competed in the high jump. He represented his country at the Summer Olympics in 2000, taking the bronze medal and made a second appearance at the 2004 Athens Olympics. His personal best of 2.34 m is the Algerian record for the event. He retired from the sport in 2010. In 2020, he became the President of the Algerian Olympic Committee. Hammad was appointed as minister on 16 March 2023.
Sunday Bada was a Nigerian sprinter who specialized in the 400 metres event. He won three medals at the World Indoor Championships, including a gold medal in 1997. His personal best time was 44.63 seconds, and with 45.51 seconds indoor he holds the African indoor record. He set a national record in the 4 x 400 metres relay at the 2000 Olympics, where the Nigerian team also won gold medals after the disqualification of the US team who had finished first.
Natalya "Natasha" Stanislavovna Dukhnova is a retired Belarusian middle distance runner who mainly competed in the 800 metres.
Nobuharu Asahara is a former Japanese athlete who specialized in the 100 meters and long jump. He won the 100 m at the Japanese national championship on five occasions in 1996, 1997, 2000, 2001 and 2002, and he took part in the Olympics four times in 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008. He represented Japan six times at the World Championships in Athletics.

Yuki Nakata is a Japanese track and field athlete who competes in the women's heptathlon. She represented Japan at the 2004 Summer Olympics and has competed twice at the World Championships in Athletics. She was the silver medallist at the 2009 Asian Athletics Championships and the 2010 Asian Games and has won the heptathlon at the East Asian Games and the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships. With straight wins from 2002 to 2010, she is a nine time national champion and her best of 5962 points for the heptathlon is the national record for the event.
Miki Imai is a Japanese former track and field athlete who competed in the high jump. Her personal best of 1.96 m, set in 2001, is the Japanese record for the event. She is also co-holder of the indoor national record of 1.91 m with Megumi Sato.
Xiao Yehua is a Chinese former track and field sprinter. Her personal best for the 100 metres was 11.23 seconds, set in 1992. She was a two-time Chinese champion over the 100 m.

She won a bronze medal in the 400 m hurdles at the 1994 European Championships, and a gold medal in the 4 × 400 metres relay at the 1991 World Championships. She also competed at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Hamad Mubarak Al-Dosari is a retired Qatari hurdler who specialized in the 110 metres hurdles. He also competed internationally in the 400 metres hurdles as well as relay.
