Chennai Football Association (CFA), is an sports governing body that governs the football in and around the Chennai district of Tamil Nadu. It is a member of the Tamil Nadu Football Association, which is affiliated to the All India Football Federation (AIFF). The CFA organises Chennai Football League, overlooking promotion and development of football in the bustling city of Chennai. Chennai Football Association has 96 affiliated clubs and conducts about 450 league matches for its member clubs, dividing them to 4 senior divisions, apart from conducting league for the schools and colleges. St. Joseph's Group of Institutions was the principal sponsor for nine years. [1] Rohit Ramesh is the president of the Chennai Football Association. [2]

Chennaiyin Football Club Reserves and Academy, also known as Chennaiyin FC B, is the youth system of Indian Super League side Chennaiyin. Based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the reserve side was founded on 12 January 2018 and participated in I-League 2nd Division, the second division of Indian football. Club's academy teams were founded on 28 August 2017 and under 18 side participates in Youth League U18, the highest level for youth football in India.
