Chhotubhai Amarasinhbhai Vasava (born 15 July 1945) is Indian politician from Western Indian state of Gujarat. He founded the Bharatiya Tribal Party (BTP) in 2017 after leaving Janata Dal (United). He is a seven term Member of the Legislative Assembly from the Jhagadia constituency since 1990. [1] [2] [3]
He was born in Bharuch district,Gujarat. He belongs to an Adivasi ethnic Bhil tribal community. [4]
He is an MLA from Jhagadiya Assembly constituency. He was a member of Janata Dal (United) (JD(U)) from 1990 to 2017. [5] He left JD (U) when it formed an alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party in Bihar state in 2017. [6]
He founded the Bharatiya Tribal Party (BTP),less than a month before the 2017 Gujarat Legislative Assembly election which won two seats in assembly in an alliance with the Indian National Congress. [7] [8]
He is a well-known tribal leader. [7] He is one advocate of Bhilistan a separate state comprising tribal dominated parts of Gujarat,Rajasthan,Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. [9] [10]

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is a centre-right to right-wing conservative Indian political alliance led by the right-wing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). It was founded in 1998 and currently controls the government of India as well as the government of 15 Indian states and one Union territory.
The Samata Party (SAP) is a political party in India, initially formed in 1994 by George Fernandes and Nitish Kumar, now led by Uday Mandal its National President. Samata Party once launched Nitish Kumar as the Chief Minister of Bihar. It was an offshoot of the Janata Dal, with the alleged casteism of the parent party being the reason given for the split. The party has socialist leanings, and at one point wielded considerable political and social influence in North India, particularly in Bihar. In 2003 most Samata Party members joined Janata Dal (United). Only a faction led by MP Brahmanand Mandal remained in the Samata party and continued to use the party name and symbols.

Mansukhbhai Dhanjibhai Vasava is an Indian politician associated with Bharatiya Janata Party and former Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs in the Government of India under the Prime Ministership of Narendra Modi. He is a senior leader of the bharatiya janata party. He first got elected to 12th Lok Sabha in a by-election held on 25 November 1998 from the Bharuch Parliamentary Constituency of Gujarat, once a stronghold of Congress President Sonia Gandhi's political advisor Ahmed Patel. Keshav Prasad Maurya is an Indian politician, currently serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Maurya was associated with right wing Hindu organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, before entering active politics through BJP. He was also involved in cow protectionism in his early life.
