Christopher Anthony Martucci (born June 5, 1977), known professionally as Christian Martucci, is an American guitarist and vocalist. He is the lead guitar player for the hard rock band Stone Sour, Corey Taylor, and former member of Black Star Riders.

Martucci is a dual citizen of Italy and the United States. [2] He was born in Philadelphia and was a founding member of Thousand Watt Stare, Black President, [3] the Strychnine Babies and the Chelsea Smiles. Martucci was Dee Dee Ramone's guitarist from late 1999 to 2002 [4] and appeared as "Chris the Creep" in Ramones's last book, Legend of a Rock Star, A Memoir: The Last Testament of Dee Dee Ramone. In 2014, he became the permanent replacement for Stone Sour's guitarist Jim Root. [5] In September 2018, it was announced he would replace Damon Johnson as lead guitarist in Black Star Riders [6] from January 2019.

In 2020, it was announced that Martucci would be joining Corey Taylors solo band. [7] The band recorded 25 songs in 2 1/2 weeks live in the studio with producer Jay Ruston. The album CMFT was released in October 2020 by Roadrunner Records. [8] [9]

In February 2021, Martucci formed the side project Dirty O'Keeffe [10] with Billy Gould (Faith No More), Dave Raun (Lagwagon), and Steven Shepard (Trash N' Privilege). They released the single "Brick or Bullet" in 2021, followed by the four-song EP Heavy Water in 2022. [11]

Martucci uses or has used guitars by a variety of brands including Gibson, Gretsch, Marvin, Zemaitis, Dean, and Charvel. [12] He uses Dimarzio pickups [13] and Marshall amps. [14]

Since their formation, JBKB have currently solely been a touring band for lead singer and guitarist Taylor's solo work. No official studio album has been announced.

Black Star Riders is a hard rock band formed in December 2012. The band began when members of the 2011–2012 line-up of Thin Lizzy decided to record new material, but chose not to release it under the Thin Lizzy name. While Thin Lizzy continues on an occasional basis, Black Star Riders is a full-time band, described as "the next step in the evolution of the Thin Lizzy story". The band's first album, All Hell Breaks Loose, was released on May 21, 2013, and the follow-up album, The Killer Instinct was released on February 20, 2015. The band's third album, Heavy Fire, was released on February 3, 2017, and reached number six on the UK Albums Chart.

Hydrograd is the sixth and most recent studio album by American rock band Stone Sour. Recorded at Sphere Studios in Los Angeles, it is the follow-up to the band's 2012–2013 double concept album, House of Gold & Bones Part 1 and 2. It was released worldwide on June 30, 2017 via Roadrunner Records. Hydrograd also had a special album premiere with commentary on each song from frontman Corey Taylor on June 29, 2017 on Octane. Two singles were released in promotion of the album ahead of its release: "Fabuless" and "Song #3". A third single, "Rose Red Violent Blue ", was released on September 13, 2017. On October 24, 2017, Hydrograd won the award for Hard Rock Album of the Year at the Loudwire Music Awards. On April 4, 2018, the album's fourth single, “St. Marie” was released. Hydrograd is the first album to be produced without founding guitarist Jim Root, as he departed Stone Sour in 2014 to focus more on his and Corey's other band Slipknot. "Song #3" is a single by American rock band Stone Sour, off of their studio album Hydrograd. It topped the US Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart in June 2017, where it held the top spot for five consecutive weeks.
