A critic from The Times of India wrote that "Sanjay and Sameera sort out their problems, one after the other, but the audience watching the movie might find the problems of the pair in love too much of an ordeal to suffer". [1] A critic from 123telugu wrote that "Chukkalanti Ammayi Chakkanaina Abbayi is a very boring and painfully slow film. The outdated story line and poor direction only add to the film’s troubles". Tarun Kumar is an Indian actor known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He has also appeared in few Tamil and Malayalam films. He has received three state Nandi Awards and the National Film Award for his works. He received the National Film Award for Best Child Artist in 1991, for his work in Mani Ratnam's Anjali, which was India's official entry to the Oscars for that year.
