Aleta Chuko is one of the woredas in the Sidama Region of Ethiopia. It has twenty seven kebeles including Qorke, Rufo, Loko, Gure, Dongora, Siqee, Teso, and Chuko Town (chuko01 & chuko02) has two kebeles totalling twenty nine. Aleta chuko has economical source in richoff coffee, inseti (kochoo), peanaple, chat those are main source of economic contributor of the worda.the woreda has irregational dam on the river of Gidawo river which has supporting agricultural cultivation for main fruit like mango, peanaple, orange, avocado etc. contributing to the area, country and exporting in the future.

Location

Aleta Chuko is located within 6460'- 6720' N and 3820'-3856'E Longitude and Latitude respectively.

Aleta Chuko is bordered on the south by Dara, on the southwest by the Oromia Region, on the west by Loka Abaya, on the north by Dale, and on the east by Aleta Wendo. The administrative center is Chuko. Chuko was separated from Aleta Wendo woreda.

Population

Based on the 2007 Census conducted by the CSA, this woreda has a total population of 167,300, of whom 85,928 are men and 81,372 women; 5,673 or 3.39% of its population are urban dwellers. The majority of the inhabitants were Protestants, with 90.95% of the population reporting that belief, 2.4% practiced Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity, 2.27% were Catholic, 2.09% observed traditional religions, and 1.05% were Muslim. The Shebelle River is flowing through this woreda. The major town in this woreda is Mustahīl.

Erebti is one of the Districts of Ethiopia, or woredas in the Afar Region of Ethiopia. It is named after the Erebti River, a stream that flows east from the Ethiopian highlands into the Afar Depression, part of which lies in the eastern part of this woreda. One of the woredas in the Administrative Zone 2, Erebti is bordered on the south by the Administrative Zone 4, on the southwest by Megale, on the northwest by Abala, and on the north and east by Afdera. Located in the Great Rift Valley, Dale is bordered on the south by Aleta Wendo and Chuko, on the west by Loko Abaya, on the northwest by Boricha, on the north by Shebedino, and on the east by Wensho. The major town in Dale is Irgalem, Irgalem. Parts of Dale woreda were separated to create Loko Abaya and Wensho woredas.

Part of the Jimma Zone, Dedo is bordered on the south by the Gojeb River and South Western Region of Ethiopia that recently formed and which separated from the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region, on the west by Seka Cokorsa (woreda), on the north by Kersa, and on the east by Mencho (woreda) that recently separated from Dedo Woreda. The major town in Dedo is Sheki.

Liben is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Guji Zone, Liben is bordered on the south by the Dawa River which separates it from the Borena Zone, on the west by Odo Shakiso, on the northwest by Adolana Wadera, on the north by the Ganale Dorya River which separates it from the Bale Zone, and on the east by the Somali Region. The map of the Oromia Region published by Disaster Prevention and Disaster Agency shows that this woreda is part of the Guji Zone, and that the eastern part has been transferred to the Somali Region to create the Liben woreda of that region. The town of Negele Boran was separated from Liben woreda and is separate woreda now.

Aleta Wendo is a town in southern Ethiopia. Located in a fertile and forested area near Lake Abaya in the upper Gidabo River basin, not far from the sources of the Ganale Dorya and Dawa Rivers in the Aleta Wendo Zone of the Sidama Regional State, this town has a longitude and latitude of 6°36′N38°25′E with an elevation of 2037 meters above sea level. It is the administrative center of Aleta Wendo woreda.

Semien Achefer is a woreda in Amhara Region, Ethiopia. It is named for the historic district of Achefer, which was first mentioned in the 16th century. Part of the Mirab Gojjam Zone, Achefer is bordered on the south by Debub Achefer, on the west by the Semien Gondar Zone, on the north by Lake Tana, on the east by Bahir Dar Zuria, and on the southeast by Mecha; the Lesser Abay River defines the Woreda's eastern boundary. The woreda includes Dek Island. The administrative center is liben Town; other towns in Semien Achefer include Yesmala, Dembola, Sankira, Kunzila and Chimnba. Semien Achefer was part of former Achefer woreda before 1998 E.C. In this woreda Beles hydroelectric power generating station is found at Charman Dusuman kebele( water source of intake is from Lake Tana). Historical places in the woreda are Etege Mintewab Launched Palace( but now is not protected) at Kunzila zuria kebele, Gashola st. George Orthodox monastery at Gashola kebele, Abe Gubegna etc.

Goro Bakaksa is one of the woredas in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Liban Zone, Goro Bekeksa is bounded on the south by the Ganale Dorya River which separates it from the Liben Zone, on the west by Guradamole, on the north by the Oromia Region, on the northeast by Elekere, and on the southeast by Cherti.

Duna is one of the woredas in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Hadiya Zone, Duna is bordered on the east and south by the Kembata Tembaro Zone, on the northwest by Soro, and on the northeast by Limo. Duna was part of Soro woreda. It consists of 32 rural kebeles. also the woreda found at a distance of 42 km south west from zonal administration headquarter Hossana.

Wensho was separated from Dale woreda.

Bursa is one of the woredas in the Sidama National Regional state of Ethiopia. Part of the Southern Sidama Zone, Bursa is bordered on the south by Hula, on the west by Aleta Wendo, on the northwest by Wensho, on the northeast by Arbegona, and on the southeast by Bona Zuria. Bursa was separated from Hula woreda.
