Churi Wiqu (Aymara churi dull yellow, wiqu a corner in a house, a mountain cove, [2] "dull yellow mountain cove", Hispanicized spelling Chorehueco) is a mountain in the Andes of southern Peru, about 5,000 metres (16,404 ft) high. It is situated on the border of the Moquegua Region, General Sánchez Cerro Province, Ichuña District, and the Puno Region, Puno Province, Pichacani District. It lies southeast of the mountains Tankani and Chuqipata. [1]
Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

Tuma Tumani lies east of the mountain Jiwaña at the plain named Jiwaña Pampa. The Jiwaña River flows along its slopes before it reaches the Mawri River (Mauri).

It lies northwest of the mountain Churi Wiqu, northeast of Millu and southeast of Tankani.
