Citizen Power (Poder Ciudadano) was a Chilean left-wing political party, founded in 2015. It was created by former supporters of Michelle Bachelet, Marcel Claude, Franco Parisi and Alfredo Sfeir, who were presidential candidates for the 2013 elections. [2]

In 2017, the party joined a new leftist coalition called Broad Front, which competed in the presidential and parliamentary elections that year. [3]

On September 27, 2018, Autonomous Left merged with Poder Ciudadano, the latter saying via Twitter to "...create a new party of feminist, popular and democratic left..." [4] The new party was called Commons.

The 2015 Madrilenian regional election was held on Sunday, 24 May 2015, to elect the 10th Assembly of the Community of Madrid. All 129 seats in the Assembly were up for election. The election was held simultaneously with regional elections in twelve other autonomous communities and local elections all throughout Spain.

Broad Front (Chile) Political party in Chile

The Broad Front is a Chilean political coalition founded in early 2017, composed of left-wing parties and movements. The Broad Front also expanded their electoral representation to 20 deputies, 1 senator and 21 out of 278 Regional Councillors, thus consolidating the movement as the 'third force' in Chilean politics.

The Broad Left Movement was a Chilean leftwing political movement. It was commenced in 2011 by several social actors belonging to the "extra-parliamentary left" as well as other former members of the Concertacion coalition that ruled Chile from 1990 to 2010. In 2014 it merged with other movements left in Convergence of the Left.
